INTRODUCTION
One common word in our society today is sex. Gone are the days when children do not know anything about sex until they become adults, but now most societies advocate sex education for little boys and girls at a tender age. Unfortunately, you may not have much choice, until your four-year-old little girl returns from school one day asking you about it. Then you may realize how times have changed.
TV programs and most movies now have sex-related scenes; magazines covers contain ladies almost naked in the bid to advertise a product that is not even related to what is shown. The billboards on the highway easily draw the audience’s attention when it contains the picture of a beautiful lady. Simply put, everything around us now speaks a common language-sex.
But is sex really bad? Is it a sin that should be avoided completely? Does God detest sex? Whose idea was it in the first place? Why do all men, including animals, get attracted to the opposite gender so easily? Have you ever thought of any of these questions?
Now, let’s start from the beginning. In Genesis 1: 26, the bible says, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." So, the creation of man was God’s idea. He formed every single part of a man’s body. Also, God formed in man the ability to be attracted to the opposite gender. How do I know this? Let’s see Genesis 2:23, the bible says, And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
This was an exclamatory statement. This was the first time the first man ever saw a woman, and yet, he was attracted to her immediately.
Then God commanded them to reproduce after their kind, and that is why God created humans with sex organs. However, God didn’t create the ability to have sex as a tool against man but for a purpose, and this purpose can and must be fulfilled within the confine of marriage. He said in Hebrews 13:4, "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." It is good and honorable only in marriage.
However, we live in a society today where sex has been taken out of God’s purpose to satisfy selfish desires. Extramarital affairs are now common. Just move around your community, and you will see men and women who are not married to each other yet living together as a couple. Young people now see lovemaking as a way to prove their love to each other. You watch movies, and almost 99% of lovemaking scenes are between two people who are not married or two who are not married to each other. Worse of all, even some Ministers of the gospel find it difficult to teach the subject in the right context, and so, it seems as though sleeping around with whomsoever is not a big deal after all.
Can I tell you one thing? Immortality may not be a big deal to the government or the society, but it has always been, and it will remain a big deal before God. Sleeping with the opposite sex who you aren’t married to is still a capital sin before God like it was initially. It may have been acceptable before men, but it is absolutely a sin before God.
Did you see the passage we read earlier in Hebrews 13:4b? (ISV) it says, "For God will judge those who commit sexual sins, especially those who commit adultery." God still frowns at fornication even today. He created the desire to have sex in you, but He has also made provisions to fulfill that desire within the context of marriage and not through random hangouts and careless sleepovers.
You may wonder, but I used a condom, so I’m protected. Well, that’s why God has inspired me to write this book. There is more to the sin of fornication than what you can protect yourself from. So, take a comfortable position and open your heart as God speaks directly to you about the implication of fornication. Yes, it has dire consequences.
I believe that through this book, you will also be empowered to break free from the shackles of fornication that have ruined your life and limited your destiny.
Are you ready for this life-transforming journey? Let’s dive in.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT FORNICATION
If you have been in church or among Christian gatherings for a while, you would have heard the word fornication, or you would have heard someone referred to as a fornicator. The KJV bible dictionary defines fornication as the incontinence or lewdness of unmarried persons, male or female. In other words, having sexual intercourse with
