Book Preview: #1 Keri was already aware of what was making her sick: chemicals. She had figured out that she had at least one dirty gene, which was causing her to have a difficult time detoxing.
#2 The MTHFR gene is crucial to the body’s most important biological process, methylation. As a result, a dirty MTHFR creates not only anxiety and depression, but a host of other symptoms, including weight gain, headache, fatigue, and brain fog.
#3 Your genes are active participants in your daily health. They give instructions to your brain, digestive tract, skin, heart, liver, and many other aspects of your anatomy, and these instructions shape every facet of your experience and your health.
#4 The way to get optimal health is by supporting your genes. I want you to give your first-line genes what they need to hand out the instructions for perfect health. I want your genes cooperating smoothly to give you glowing skin and a healthy weight and tons of energy and a clear, sharp mind.

Keri was already aware of what was making her sick: chemicals. She had figured out that she had at least one dirty gene, which was causing her to have a difficult time detoxing.
#2
The MTHFR gene is crucial to the body’s most important biological process, methylation. As a result, a dirty MTHFR creates not only anxiety and depression, but a host of other symptoms, including weight gain, headache, fatigue, and brain fog.

#4
The way to get optimal health is by supporting your genes. I want you to give your first-line genes what they need to hand out the instructions for perfect health. I want your genes cooperating smoothly to give you glowing skin and a healthy weight and tons of energy and a clear, sharp mind.
#5
The scientific name for a born-dirty gene is genetic polymorphism, which is a fancy way of saying genetic variation. These genes are also called single-nucleotide polymorphisms, or SNPs. They determine whether you’re heavy or slim, sluggish or energized, depressed or optimistic, anxious or calm.
#6
Your genes can express themselves in several ways, from healthy and glowing to obese and anxious. The way your genes express themselves is called genetic expression. If you give your genes the diet and lifestyle they need, they’ll act clean instead of dirty, and you can optimize your health, mental outlook, and life.
#7
There are seven genes that we target in this book. They are extremely common, have been well researched, and have the most far-reaching effects on your body. If these guys are dirty, the rest of your genes will be gunked up as well.
#8
The good news is that your health can spread and multiply in amazing ways when you clean up your dirty genes. When you clean up your genes, you start feeling terrific in ways you never even imagined.
#9
There are many factors that can contribute to poor health, and the list is long.
#10
The industrial chemicals in our air, water, food, and products have gotten completely out of control. Our bodies were never designed to bear that chemical burden, and everyone’s genes are struggling under the weight.
#11
In this phase, you clean all your genes. You complete a questionnaire that gives us your baseline. This helps us target which of your genes are functioning at less than their best, whether they were born dirty or are acting dirty.
#12
The Clean Genes Protocol is a lifelong program to keep your genes clean as you optimize your health. It consists of eating appropriate amounts of protein and healthy fat, making sure you get all the nutrients
