Kettlebell Training For Beginners - Beginner Kettlebell Workout For Strong, Sculpted And Sexy Body - Lucy Cooke
Introduction
Kettlebells are currently one of the most popular health fads, with everyone talking about them. Almost every fitness magazine and website seems to be promoting the use of kettlebells, and they're beginning to appear in gyms where they weren't previously.
Is this just another health craze that will pass? Is there something else going on? The truth is that kettlebells are only a small part of a much larger movement.
Gym bros are suddenly out of style, as greater access to information allows us to better understand what's best for our bodies. We now know that 10 minutes of curling dumbbells will not fix a lifetime of sitting at a desk. What’s missing from our lives is functional strength and mobility.
Simply put, we are not using our bodies as nature intended. As a result, they are deteriorating much faster than they should be. The infamous 'Dad Bod' afflicts men who spend 65 hours a week in the office, 20 in front of the TV, 10 in the pub, and 2 in the gym.
We must begin again. We need to use more creative tools to make training more enjoyable, to experiment with our bodies, and to begin developing real-world strength that we can apply in our daily lives. We must regain our power, flexibility, and mobility. And kettlebells can assist you in doing so. Let's take a look at what kettlebells are and why they represent such a paradigm shift.
This book will teach you how to create an entire workout using only kettlebells. And this isn't just any old workout: this is a workout that will give you the body you've always wanted as well as the performance you've only dreamed of. You'll be more powerful, faster, adaptable, and energetic. You'll feel more alert, and your brain will be supercharged beyond belief.
Do you not believe me? That's understandable; these are bold claims. But I guarantee that once you've finished this book, you'll understand why that's possible and why you should start kettlebell training right away.
Chapter 1: Introduction To Kettlebell
So let’s start right at the beginning. What exactly is a kettlebell? Where did it come from? And how does it have such unique properties that make it such an effective training tool?
The kettlebell is essentially a small weight that can be used to provide external resistance in a manner similar to that of a dumbbell. It has a handle and comes in a variety of weights, allowing you to curl or press it in the same way.
The distinction is in the position of the handle in relation to the weight. The kettlebell, as opposed to having weights on either side and a bar in the middle, is essentially a large, cast-iron ball that you can grasp in one hand from the top. This means that when
