    Diet and Fertility

    Diet changes can have massive impacts. For both men and women, it can even affect their fertility.

    The most common reason for a female’s infertility is a lack of ovulation, meaning their ovaries won’t release an egg. For men, abnormalities of the testes, hormones, or ducts that carry the sperm can limit fertility. There can also be issues when the sperm and egg actually come together.

    The more body fat you have, the more hormones you produce. However, this does not help with fertility, as studies have shown that being on the thinner side of a normal weight range helps a woman with her fertility. This is because fat cells cause hormones to malfunction.

    When you have excess hormones, your liver filters your blood and removes them along with other toxins. One way to help your liver with this task is to eat more fiber, as it’s responsible for soaking up all those unwanted toxins in your liver.

    Along with a high fiber, low fat diet, eliminating dairy can help with a woman’s fertility. The artificial insemination of cows can aggravate hormone problems, and the lactose in milk can also be
