      Slowly and wearily my eyes drifted open; the once darkness was immediately filled with bright light. I struggled to adjust to it; blinking a few times I gradually became accustom to the intense light. I glanced over my surroundings, various shades of green filtered through my vision. I was surrounded by trees and bushes; the strong scent of the forest met my senses and I wrinkled my nose. Unused to the pungent aroma the smell overwhelmed my confused mind.

      Stretching out my arms, instant pain shot through them; my sore muscles objected deeply to the movement. I winced harshly and continued to move my fingers, hoping that they would soon come back to life. My legs were curled defensively against my chest; confused at the strange position I was in I tried to stretch them as well. They roared in anger at what I was trying to do; I ignored the discomfort and extended them fully. Blood surged through my veins as my body awakened on
