The gates to the theme park loomed in front of me; at least ten ticket booths were handing out passes to the long lines of eager people.

      I definitely wasn’t one of these people; there were families with hordes of over excited children and groups of friends that looked fairly bored by the lengthy lines. Everything about the place made me want to run back to the packed Car Park and hide in the car. I hated scary rides with a fierce passion that my friends just didn’t understand. The smell of old burgers and sweaty bodies radiated from the place which only made it worse and sickened me slightly.
