About this ebook

Out of the blue Ellie receives a phone call from the past, from someone she never thought she would ever see again. The love of her life disappeared the day that she finished university, never to be seen again; until now that is. With her heart and body leading her she agrees to meet him, to let him explain.

Can she contain herself when the man she thought she knew looks more like a model? Will David live up to her dreams or will he let her down again? Can a simple lunch turn into something more passionate?

Are you sure this is the place Ellie? my friend Katie asked sounding concerned. I pulled the small crumpled piece of paper that held the address out of my pocket. I pealed apart the many folds carefully so I didn’t damage the fragile paper. Sure enough in my scribbled handwriting it read ‘The Capon Inn, 11am,’ looking up at the sign above me, in bold red letters it framed the same name.

This is where he told me to meet him a few days ago, I confirmed to Katie. She still looked sceptical and checked her watch; I could tell she was trying to hide her worry but as normal it was clear on her face. For the first time since I had gotten the phone call a few days ago I was actually feeling OK. Initially I had panicked; a rush of old feelings pounded my body as soon as I had heard his voice.

Its 10:55, where is he? Katie asked me.
