The Big Brown Ghost

Sitting in the office at work listening to the heavy rainfall was incredibly soothing. Only days before I had been thinking how depressing it is seeing our countryside so burnt and dry from a lack of rainfall, I couldn’t imagine the heartache some of my farming family and friends were feeling.

It had been raining for two days straight and the smell of wet eucalyptus was in the air, it seemed so long since I had smelt it. I knew I had to get up the bush after work for a hunt and make the most of this good weather before another hot spell came through.
