New orders and new uncertainties
1- Changes in the global village
GLOBALIZATION IS A SOCIAL PHENOMENON GENERATED FROM THE APPLICATION OF THE NEOLIBERAL PROGRAM. NEOLIBERALISM IS AN IDEOLOGY THAT PREDOMINATES, RULES WORLDWIDE. GLOBALIZATION TRANSFORMS SOCIETIES, WAYS OF LIFE, RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PEOPLE AND EVEN THE WAY OF RELATIONSHIP AND PERCEIVE THE WORLD THAT INDIVIDUALS HAVE
THE FALL OF THE BERLIN Wall was the closure of a great political change that is reflected in the fall of communism in Eastern Europe and in the Soviet Union from 89 to 91. WE COULD SAY THAT THE FAILURE OF THE SOCIALIST GOVERNMENTS IS DUE TO A CHANGE IN THE PRODUCTIVE SYSTEM on a GLOBAL scale. This new system, which is related to the development of communications related to scientific and technological knowledge (distance communication, email, ease of access to information through the Internet, etc.), produces A TRANSFORMATION IN WORK ACTIVITIES , AND IN THE PLACE GIVEN TO EACH INDIVIDUAL WITHIN SAID ACTIVITIES. AT THE SAME TIME, THIS CHANGE IS OPPOSED TO ANY FORM OF STATE INTERVENTION IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE MARKET, LEANING FOR FREE COMPETITION AND GRANTING POWER TO TRANSNATIONAL COMPANIES.
International trade is favored by creating a general global economy for all the countries of the world in which development will be achieved by those who have more information and knowledge and access to the new advances of modern technology. The place of power and development is occupied by knowledge. Knowledge and access to that knowledge grants power.
Although at first, these changes were seen as a way out of the crisis that affected the world in the 70s, later the facts showed the opposite: EXCLUSION, SOCIAL INEQUALITY, UNEMPLOYMENT AND POVERTY REMAIN ALARMING IN EVERYTHING. THE WORLD. THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE NEOLIBERAL GOVERNMENTS WAS TO CREATE A LEVEL OF UNEMPLOYMENT CONCEIVED AS A NATURAL AND NECESSARY MECHANISM OF ANY EFFICIENT MARKET ECONOMY.
ON THE OTHER HAND, WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF CONTRACTING THE MONETARY EMISSION, THEY CUT SOCIAL EXPENDITURE, RAISED INTEREST RATES, PROMOTED AN ANTI-UNIONS AND ANTI-STRIKE CAMPAIGN, COUNTED SALARIES AND, AS A COUNTERPART, LOWERED INCOME TAXES ON HIGHER INCOME , THAT IS TO SAY, THAT INDIVIDUALS WHO EARN MORE ARE CHARGED LESS TAXES. With all these measures it is to be expected that inequality and poverty have increased.
The change in the place of power that knowledge now occupies also leaves
