Break The Bullying Code

About this ebook
If you've already been bullied a few times, you'll have discovered by now that bullies often behave in a remarkably similar manner, using similar dialogue, performing similar routines, even wearing similar smiles.
None of your aggressors will know each other and yet they will still treat you the same way, almost as though they are following some kind of code. This book will help you break that code and send them on their way.
Addressing the subject of bullying can be a challenge in itself, but it's not nearly as challenging as being the one on the receiving end of such treatment. I'm C.P. Sharpe and I went through this myself, many times, in many places, and all from a young age. Indeed, I was on the receiving end to such a degree that I've been able to collate my personal experiences and reflections into an entire book on the subject.
If you are being bullied yourself, the prevailing advice is to talk to someone, tell them you're having trouble. That's good advice and it's the first step towards resolving the problem. However, your first obstacle is knowing how to articulate what's happening to you.
Break The Bullying Code, therefore, contains a collection of descriptions of the different types of bully you're likely to encounter, from the Thief and the Vandal, to the Mimic and the Heckler, right down to the Passive-Aggressive and the Watchful Gaze. Think of this book as a kind of encyclopaedia of boorish behaviour.
Find the page that best describes what the Grinning Idiots are doing to you. Then show that page to your friend, colleague, parent, teacher. Show it your postie, if you like. Just find someone who will listen. Sometimes, that's all you need.
First
Know that you are not alone. The author of Break The Bullying Code has been there on the front line and is now reporting back to tell you that you are not the only one. If they're doing it to you, then 100% they're already doing it to someone else.
Second
Know that it's not your fault. Bullies take out their frustrations on anyone who'll let them. It's nothing to do with you; you're just next.
Third
And most importantly, once you've picked yourself up (physically or emotionally) go tell someone. Please. It's the only way. If you're not sure how to put it across, the descriptions in this book will give you a strong head start.
Accompanying the Bullying Code itself are chapters on why and how they do it, covering the schoolyard, the workplace, and the modern scourge of cyberbullying. There is also advice on how to respond without getting yourself into (too much) trouble, along with – possibly more importantly – what not to do. There is even a chapter on the advantages of being treated like someone else's plaything (no, really, there are some).
Bullying does not have expiry date. You will encounter abusive chancers at different ages and times in your life, and in different situations. If you've had quite enough of being pushed around now, thank you very much, then this book is for you.
Download this title today and break the bullying code tomorrow. Do it for yourself and your own well-being. Do it for your self-respect. Do it for a happier future.
C.P. Sharpe
C.P. Sharpe has been writing (what he calls) humour from a young age (well, about nineteen, which, considering he's now pushing fifty, can now be considered 'a young age'). After thirty-odd years of making a valiant effort at joke and sketch-writing, short stories, novels, stand-up comedy, various parodies, videos, songs and articles, he is now looking at re-formatting all that material into ebooks...mostly because he's finally figured out that he can. So far, titles include Days of Our Lies, Antidote to Road Rage and Break the Bullying Code. He is currently bashing away at a follow-up (he doesn't actually bash anything; he's fairly civilised). You can now sign up for his monthly newsletter at www.cpsharpe.com Then Like, Follow and Subscribe @seapeasharpe on YT, FB and Instagram (not X, though - for obvious reasons). You can even contact him directly: seapea@cpsharpe.com. Thank you for showing an interest. Frankly, that's as much as CP can hope for. He wants you to get as much of a kick out of his content as he does. (He won't actually kick you. That would involve standing up. Perhaps an appreciative raised eyebrow.)
