"Searching For Ewono" starts off with Ty at 8-years-old. His parents died. After a year in foster homes, he runs away. At 12-years-old, Gabriel's mother takes him to his father (Chris) saying she was tired of him. Gabriel meets his brother (Jye) and the rest of his family. A year later, Chris sees Ty out late when he offered to help Chris' niece Angela with her broken car. After that, Chris was determined to be there for the boy like he was for his own sons. Chris searched for him. Years later, Ty gets hurt when trying to save Gabriel. Chris, Jye, and Gabriel move in with Ty. Nick (9) wants to know who the singer Ewono is. Ewono is not in any of the videos he has online.

EXT. – BEHIND RICK’S HOUSE – MIDNIGHT

TY, 8, shoulder length straight brown hair, intense blue eyes, dressed in a long sleeve black shirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes, is standing with his back to the house. He is crying.

INT. – RICK’S HOUSE, KITCHEN – EIGHT HOURS LATER

Ty is standing by the stove. There are two eggs boiling in a pot.

INT. – RICK’S HOUSE – TWO HOURS LATER

Ty walks to the door. He opens it. SOCIAL WORKER ONE is standing there.

SOCIAL WORKER ONE

We need to take you to.

TY

My cousin is watching me.

SOCIAL WORKER ONE

We are not aware of any cousin. Your parents’ will says nothing about who will take care of you if they died.

TY

My cousin is.

SOCIAL WORKER ONE

How old is your cousin?

She hands Ty a business card. He grabs it. She walks off. Ty shuts the door. He throws the business card in the trash then walks to the couch.

Ty is sitting at a table. He is typing on a laptop computer.

INT. – RICK’S HOUSE – NEXT DAY, 10 A.M.

Ty walks to the door. He opens it. Social Worker One is standing there.

SOCIAL WORKER ONE

Your cousin never called. I need to talk to him.

TY

He is at work.

SOCIAL WORKER ONE

Where does he work?

He travels a lot.

He does not like me talking to people when he is not here. I have to shut the door now.

Ty shuts the door.
