Aligning With Your Destiny Connector - Angela Pipersburgh
This book is lovingly dedicated to
Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe.
A Prayer for Those of You Holding This Book in Your Hands Right Now. . .
Father, let Your Kingdom come and let Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We know that You have aligned us with our Destiny Connectors.
You love people. You place treasure in people. And we could never fulfill our assignment without our earthly connectors. So, we thank You right now. Thank You for giving us Destiny Connectors.
Lord God, as I decrease, You increase, have Your way and touch hearts.
We thank you for Your miracle even now in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
Chapter 1: Work as Worship
How many of you believe your work is your worship?
See, you could raise your hands and you could worship, but until you know that everything you do should represent the God you serve, you're not worshipping yet.
Our work is worship, and we need to have that stick-to-itiveness where we become almost like a bulldog, where nothing hinders us. We need to be so focused on our assignment, and so in our lane, that it does not matter what anybody does or what anybody says. In fact, we can actually find that the circumstances that surround us do not affect us. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could live like that?
How many of you believe this is possible?
The Bible tells us that the man diligent in his business shall stand before kings and not before unknown men (Proverbs 22:29). You don't show up before great men and women just because you want to. You show up before great men and women because you have been diligent. And God has said, It's your time.
As a side note, I would like to add that for the women reading this who are in leadership, you understand that your first ministry begins at home. It does not matter what your title is. It does not matter how much money you make. Your husband is still the head of the household. Why? Because that is how God set that up. So, we are to honor that.
I am truly excited, and I am looking forward to what God has in store for us in the pages of this book. Do you know why? Because I believe that this is your time.
There is a Scripture that keeps coming up in my heart: Amos 9:13-15 says:
"‘Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.’
God’s decree.
‘Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once – everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.
I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:
They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.’
God, your God, says so."
