The Foolish Woman - Kimberly Moses

    Dedication

This book wouldn’t be possible without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. When I thought my life and ministry was over, He gave me another chance. I promised Him that I would help someone not to make the same mistakes. I am grateful that the Lord never gave up on me when I was at my worse.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

    Introduction

I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was sitting in jail, numb, and in disbelief. I couldn’t believe that I was back in a place that I vowed never to return. A prophet of God is here. A Christian is sitting in jail. Who will take me seriously if I try to minister to them? My ministry is over, these thoughts raced through my mind. I tried to cry, but the shock of the events that landed me a night in jail overwhelmed me. I humbled myself. I managed to get a prayer out, Lord, I really messed up. Please forgive me. Please help me. Please set me free. Why am I here again? Please reveal it to me? Immediately, the Lord began to take me back to my mother’s womb. Anger entered in me then as she dealt with it. I saw flashbacks of me fighting little kids in my neighborhood and hurting others. At that moment, I laid hands on my belly and did self-deliverance. Come out- anger that came through the womb in the name of Jesus. Suddenly, I started yawning and couldn’t stop doing it for a few minutes. Tears started to stream down my face. I began to feel so light and knew that the spirit of anger came out of me. I began to hear the Lord speak to me, Your ministry is not over. I will still use you. Things will be restored in your life. Trust me. I was thankful that the Lord had forgiven me and had to use my faith to believe the Word of the Lord regardless of what was occurring in the natural world. I began to get the download for this book to help women who are living foolishly.

Lord, I need to get out of here but don’t know who to call. My family doesn’t live around here. The Lord spoke, Call the bail bonds agent that starts with an R. A few hours later, the correctional officer let me out of my cell to make a phone call. There was a list of phone numbers of bail bonds agents taped to the wall. There had to be around 100 phone numbers. I scanned the list and saw that there was only one bail bondsman listed that started with an R. I picked up the phone and dialed. Hello. I am in jail for domestic violence. I don’t have any cash on me, but I can pay you electronically. Can you help? Yes, I can help. That is fine. What time is your court case and has your bail been set? he asked. I answered him with all the details and a few hours later, he bailed me out of jail. I had to spend $500, which I could’ve used for bills and other expenses.

Foolish choices result in devastating consequences. Perhaps you can relate to my testimony. If so, then you know that getting into trouble can be expensive because you have to pay attorneys, court costs, fees, bail, etc. Have you ever said or done something that you later regretted? We all have acted foolishly at times. In those moments, we get out of character while bringing embarrassment to ourselves and others. If we do have a relationship with the Lord, then He is grieved by our actions. I’m blessed to be a recipient of God’s mercy. He allowed me to recover all as He restored me.

We have an enemy (devil) that loves it when we mess up and destroy our own lives. Everything isn’t his fault. We have to look in the mirror and take responsibility. Some of us have pride, rebellion, dishonor, anger, bitterness, or unforgiveness in our hearts that we need to be delivered from. We have to cry out to the Lord and confess that we are that same foolish woman. We need to repent of our sins and ask the Lord for forgiveness. Then we need to go through the deliverance process.

    Consider the following Scripture:

Proverbs 14:1 says, Every wise woman buildeth her house, but the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands.

I was this foolish woman who tore down her own home with my bare hands. I hurt my ex-husband. I divided our family. I tore up property and spent money recklessly that I could’ve invested. At that time, I lacked the wisdom to build my house. We have to ask God for wisdom and He will give us a generous amount (James 1:5). Had I been wise, then I could’ve had more money in the bank, debts paid off, and a happy family. The Lord also showed me that our house is also referring to our bodies. For instance, when a demon is cast out of a person, they seek a
