All I’ve sought to achieve in disquieting times as these, is to provide thy mind reprieve from the tumult of gnashing teeth, by all the forces who wax supreme attempting to subvert thy inner peace. Thus, here in this book resides aphoristic rhymes to serenade thy soul and edify thy mind in affirmations of faith sailing seas divine, penned for a time always short on time.

we may never see eye to eye

nor our convictions coincide

but may we stand alongside

one another ever dignified

in the timeless noble fight

to fortify the sacred right

of all to speak their mind

we can only make

one another think

awakening is free

free to wake or sleep

to be or not to be

there is only but to do

create what you say

first ask

who

are

you?

accept the challenge

of challenging the accepted

you must break from

in order to break through

but before any breakthrough

old paradigms need be subdued

rewired anew to

a new you

once

an unknown

is made known

one cannot not know

nor delete and let go

one can only accept it

and do the best with

the once unknown

newly made

known

the purpose to suffering

is to suffer for a purpose

the answer you desire

is answered in your desire

the truth you seek

is only found by truly seeking

the reason you’re needing

is in your need for a reason

the meaning of struggling

is the struggle for meaning

we’ve been trained to think

we’re wretched and weak

…

we’ve been beguiled into the belief

there’s no need for belief

…

we’ve been conformed to conditions

designed to devour our spirits

…

may we see

that to assuredly see

know thyself we all first need

by sailing away from negation’s bay

into the merciful breeze of a welcoming sea

while flowing auspiciously atop spiritual waves

under celestial guidance in affirmations embraced

veiled in

the most hidden of words

the spirit unveils

and souls affirm

that which can’t

be read nor

heard

…

truth

{one must strive}

is never advertised

{to see between}

nor popularized

{the lines}

…

understand

you won’t always

understand

missed will be

heaven’s signs

till one elects to see

through heavenly eyes

…

the spirit

can never reign

till all brainwashing’s

are washed from

the brain

…

what will

the children think

when they learn

they’ve been programmed

what to believe

but not how

to think?

fear lies in lies told by minds

darkness a myth only absence of light

shadow tells mind be fearful and hide

spirit tells mind to seek out the light

light shows mind that fear is a lie

minds free of fear are a life freed alive

a life freed alive is a spirit untied

a spirit untied is awakening realized

to face a fear

you must first

make it appear

…

feel more to fear less

from fearful to fearless

…

stand alone

if you have to

but stand firm is

what you must do
