About this ebook
When you are conscious of your state, you are in control. That is obvious. You choose your direction in life or one is chosen for you. A nightmare can arise though, when you are led down a path that is paved with half truths, and messages from beings that resemble friends. Upon recognizing these half truths and friendships of inopportune, you may choose to look behind the curtain to find the truth or answers to life's questions. This action actually requires a plan. A plan and development of deep understanding to discern the lies from the truth. To be conscious and feed the need to connect with others and research, perhaps. Develop contemplative steps with confidence and purpose. You may have moments where you feel like you have no choice in the matter of your thoughts. That you are not in control. That the ether knows better than you. That you end up without choice and sit with fear. Frightened that the monsters in your head that replay and cause you to fear the very thing your body needs to function and rejuvenate. To catch a physical break and release the sigh of relief that in the end ..it was only a dream. Oh really?

The term Lucid dreaming
is when a person, who is dreaming, is aware that they are in fact, dreaming. Within this state, their conscious mind is able to control and direct the dream. Is it pure mysticism and hearsay, maybe? However, Tibetan monks have used this type of dream control for thousands of years in a philosophy called, Dream Yoga. In Dream Yoga, there are specific goals and tasks, such as practicing spiritual discipline, receiving intentions, visiting different planes, communicating with enlightened beings, or to fly and shape into other creatures. The ultimate goal of Dream Yoga is to attain consciousness and awareness in the mind while asleep and then dissolve the actual dream state. Conscious awareness in the purest form, when there is no physical movement from the body and no interference from the dreaming mind. That is the goal. The dreamer is in total control. A seemingly useless skill for some and a powerful tool for others, perhaps. Control and choice while searching for answers.
Dreaming itself and the feeling of having no control can be freeing and pleasant for some, while for others it is the act of screaming in terror, trapped within a nightmare and physical actions in slow motion. All while making a small or large physical movement and sound, while asleep. What could be scarier? Or more exciting? Controlling one's dreams to meet a being such as yourself that will give you information needed to piece together a puzzle in reality? Or the cold sweat and whimper in terror at the disturbing? Screaming at the unconscious your mind created for you, a la Freddy Kruger style?
When you are conscious of your state, you are in control. That is obvious. You choose your direction in life or one is chosen for you. A nightmare can arise though, when you are led down a path that is paved with half-truths, and messages from beings that resemble friends. Upon recognizing these half-truths and friendships of inopportune, you may choose to look behind the curtain to find the truth or answers to life's questions. Develop contemplative steps with confidence and purpose. You may have moments where you feel like you have no choice in the matter of your thoughts that you are not in control.
