Foreword from the channel

This book contains material channeled from an entity who identifies himself as Ramun. How I came to channel him is not important but I have no doubt that some who read this material will be highly sceptical. That's sensible, in my opinion and I'd encourage you to maintain that scepticism while keeping an open mind. If you’ve never read any channeled material before I can well understand you wondering how authentic it is. In this little book you might, for instance, ask yourself If he’s a spirit, how come this guy knows about Microsoft? How come he knows about ballpoint pens and paper clips and uses 21st century language? Fair questions. The answers will become apparent as you read on, but from a channel’s perspective I can tell you that Ramun somehow connects with my mind and the storehouse of my knowledge base, vocabulary and memories. He selects examples and idioms that all of us can understand and relate to from that storehouse, bundles it up as a sort of package and downloads it into some part of my brain, from where I sense it and write it down. To do this I have to get myself out of the way and simply let the information flow. So I don’t physically hear him speaking but the process is sort of like dictation, with his information and his personality presented with my vocabulary, if that makes sense. Sometimes it comes through so fast I can scarcely keep up.

If it helps, I can assure you that I'm not off in the clouds. I’m an ordinary bloke, 70 years old, happily married, have a university education, worked in a uni for most of my employed life, play the guitar, like watching sport, enjoy photography and computers, politically left-leaning and green. I’m normal. And channeling is becoming increasingly normal and mainstream these days. Anyone can do it with a bit of training (and if you’re interested, do find yourself a trainer. Not all spirits are benevolent). The bottom line in my view is, if what you read here seems wise and uplifting and has a ring of truth to it, does it matter where it comes from? I’d really stress that you not get caught up in a cult of Ramun and I’m sure he’d endorse that. He has a lot to teach us and this little book, he tells me, is just the start. The information is what’s important. If it appeals to you, read it through many times and try it out as a way of thinking and feeling about your life. If it doesn’t help you, then I wish you well in your continuing search.

The world of the human as we write is in turmoil. It is an era which was predicted and planned and carefully prepared a very long time ago. Unfortunately, humanity has been unable, by and large, to remember what was planned and decided and has fallen into chaos brought about by ignorance and greed.

It is time to address this. We in the world of other dimensions are not constrained by the limitations of the human condition. We remember what was planned and have the knowledge to make it happen. However, we cannot interfere directly with a race which has been given the gift – some might call it a curse – of free will. We can only suggest, encourage and support. It is for the human race to do what it will with the knowledge that is increasingly becoming available from sources such as ourselves. There are now many of you who are making yourselves available as channels on behalf of the rest of humanity so that our messages can come through. What the human race does with these messages is a matter of free will. Some will grasp immediately what is being offered and will ingest it like a starveling at a banquet. Others will shrink from our efforts out of fear of the strange or out of discomfort at the challenge to strongly held beliefs, both religious and agnostic. All we can do
