Dedication
This book is dedicated to my wonderful and supportive husband, who was my closest friend. To my unforgettable parents, who made it all possible.
To my children, Adrian and Valerie, my joy and pain. My son is a constant reminder that I can do all things through Christ. My daughter is my Elizabeth; every time I’m around her, my purpose leaps.
To my brother and my sisters, who helped mold me into the lady I am. Thanks for giving me your precious time and attention.
To my great inspirations who never gave up on me—Martha Barnwell, Dr. Shirley Fennell, Pat Newby, Connie Rollins, Tina Ross, Dr. Laura, and Linda Townsend. In the beauty field, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Iris Tryon, and Mr. Robert Ivory.
To every client of Moore’s Salon & Beauty Supply, Peaches and Cream Hair Studio, and the Private Hair Doctor Studio, who lived through many of the testimonies in this book. I love you all. Thank you for being a vital part of my life.
