The Beautiful

About this ebook
For me, “Beautiful” is our human connection to that which we regard as spiritually moving. Beautiful has nothing to do with the way something or someone physically appears to us. It has only to do with what we make from that appearance. Beautiful is in everything and everyone. And it is in equal amounts in all things, at all times. Beauty is the stuff in between the pieces and the parts. It is what draws our eye and races our hearts. It is in places you expect as much as in those that you don’t. Oftentimes you don’t see the beauty until long after you’ve experienced it. But it has always been there, is there now and will eternally be there forever and for always.

glyph.jpgYour Truth
I want to hear freshness, perfection no matter the cost
I want the raw and the matter
The beauty and the bound
I want to be smothered with uniqueness and stamped on by
newness
Give me something to free me
To once again show me that angels can walk
So I know a hope still remains that we not only possess
a deepness, but we are also willing to exalt it, to shine
the inside, to bring forth to those who are seeking and
searching, the explosion and triumph of colliding moments,
of somersault nectar, the light from shadows once past cast,
the hollowed out pigments of faded colored moons, the
gifted and the glorious, the victory and the trials
Give me the truth
And I will stand on high, scream out the lines while the world
explodes
And I will tell
I will seize unto the promise of our oneness, our greatness,
ourselves
Give me the truth
Give me the truth of your thoughts

glyph.jpgA Long Short Story
It’s a long, beautiful story
Of few words
That took too long for me to write
Not the time to write the words
But the time it took to write the story

glyph.jpgThe Connection
There is this
Beautiful something
That goes from this place I am
To that place you are
It pours out of me in words
It comes to me from your smile
The connection fills the space between us
There’s no place I go that it doesn’t go with me
I am lost without it
I can’t help it
I feel you everywhere and all over

glyph.jpgGoodness, Greatness and Grace
You've shown me a different kind of goodness
A joyous kind of goodness
You've shown me how to stand and how to hover
How to bend and not be brittle
How to hum in the darkness so the dark part of night sings
out in song
How the giver becomes the getter
How wanting and needing and closeness are the same things
at some times and different at others
You've shown me that brightness can have defined edges
without suffering a lesser shine
That I can be down without fear
That it doesn't mean failure
That I am no less the hero
You've shown me a new way of newness
So I can be true to the moment
I can be scared if I'm scared and that doesn't mean weakness
I can yell through the wind and you'll hear me and know me,
then hold me and feel me
I've learned that my doing nothing can sometimes be
something
I can sit in stillness without finding meaning and purpose in
all things and always
I can just be,
