It was in 2014 that the Lord spoke to me while in prayer and gave me these three words, “PERFECTING TO SERVE”. Since then the Lord has revealed the meaning and purpose for these words and hence the birth of this book.

(Job 22:8 NLT) Tanesha Bryce-Rainford is a little Jamaican country girl who hails from the parish of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica and came to Kingston, Jamaica to reside. She is married to her beloved husband, Ruel Rainford and is the mother of two boys. She is a devoted Christian who believes in the saving name of Jesus Christ. Tanesha is a dedicated wife and mother who embrace the scripture that she is the daughter of the Lord and that she shines in His light. She believes that the Lord has called her to serve in His Kingdom and her entire Christian journey has emulated such service to the Lord.

Service is defined as the act of helping or giving assistance.

I was on vacation in the summer of 2014 and the Lord spoke to me while in prayer and gave me these three words, perfecting to serve. I asked the Lord since then to reveal to me the meaning and purpose for these words. Over time, He has revealed its meaning and hence the birth of this book.

It is my prayer that as your read this book, you will be ministered to in a profound way. I also hope you will come to the realization of your purpose and the importance of serving the Lord and others.

This book has testimonies and experiences embedded in each chapter that will allow you to have a greater appreciation of the thoughts shared.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped me along my life’s journey to be who I am today. The depth of my Christian journey started with just an invitation to a church that I really didn’t grow up hearing about but today has become my all in all, the United Pentecostal Church of Jamaica. Thanks to my husband, Ruel, who has been an encouraging partner, my mother, Patricea Blair who has continued to be my life-line, my family, my dear friends and church family.
