A lovely read. This book presents a light set of daily reminders to keep the women of our youth genuine, strong, inspired, and grounded as they face the unfamiliar and unanticipated challenges of growing up. I especially loved the inclusion of famous quotes from female influencers that inspired each piece; they were a wonderful representation of how women have shaped the world we live in today, and continue to thrive in it.

Rosanna Mendicino
Rosanna Mendicino has been fortunate enough to gain wisdom through conventional and unconventional ways. For her, the richest one of all has been motherhood. Over the years, Mendicino developed an interest in spiritual and physical practices including yoga, meditation, massage therapy, and shiatsu. She has studied with instructors and a life coach, and she has attended workshops and seminars, always seeking new ways to create a healthy, happy, and a successful life. The wisdom she has gained from mentors and through writing of others has been percolating inside of her, combining with firsthand observations and taking a new, unique shape. These insights—many of which are focused on self-love and empowerment—have contributed to her individual growth. More importantly it prompted her to share timeless information with her daughters and many others, providing them a strong foundation of self-worth and confidence. She is pleased and proud of that. By setting them down on paper in Something to Think About, Rosanna Mendicino will be able to reach women of all ages around the country—and perhaps even the world!

I would like to dedicate this book to my husband Jeffrey, the love of my life. My daughters, Nicolette, and Samantha my shinning stars. My parents, family, and friends. In loving memory of my brother Joe, through his spirit I am inspired everyday.
Introduction
I have been a stay-at-home mom, loving and nurturing my daughters, for the past nineteen years, and I am in awe at all I’ve been blessed with each and every day. It is a privilege and an honor to be their mother. When my daughters were little, I always read books to them to help them understand the different stages they would be going through. Through endless conversations with my husband, family, and friends, I felt confident that we were on a healthy path.
One day, I woke up and realized that my little girls were growing up. They started having opinions of their own—mostly the opposite of mine—and being very strong-willed.
I had to find a new way to guide them, a way that they would be open to hearing. Lecturing and battles were not going to give us the results I wanted. Through trial and error and a lot of soul-searching, I began to present them with anecdotes and inspirational quotes. To my delight, I had found a way to keep them engaged in the conversation.
Above all, I wanted my daughters to have self-love, healthy self-esteem, and confidence that they can successfully pursue their hearts’ desires. Hallelujah! It seems to have worked!
This past spring, however, I started to go into a panic. My older daughter was going off to college in the fall, and my younger daughter was entering her teen years. I worried that the strong foundation I had laid for them might soon be forgotten. How could I help them remember the thoughts
