When we become mothers, we suddenly join friendship circles we’ve never been privy to before. We build relationships with other yummy mummies we (at least initially) don’t really care for at toddler groups and in the playground in order to ensure our children are socially accepted. We manage our calendars full of playdates, school governor meetings and, in the current climate, Zoom quizzes with other parents.
