Marian Adejokun

Marian Adejokn is 22year old young woman; she is the oldest child out of her three siblings. Marian is in University studying BA Early Childhood Studies and wants to go into primary teaching with children, as she loves working with children and finds this rewarding yet a life changing experience; as she believes making a difference in a child’s life makes her happy; children always remember what you have done for them. Her mission and divine purpose in life is to be an inspiration to many youths, she does this by ministering, encouraging, blessing and embracing them with the word of God. Marian also works within her church congregation working with the Children in Sunday school and also performing Christian prophetic dances with her family. Although Marian is young in her years her life journey so far has been a living testimony; if not for the hand of God and believing in his word She wouldn't be here today. Despite her being near- death, her skin peeling off all over her body because of a rare deadly allergy reaction to eye drops; She stands here today as a fighter, a handmaiden of Jesus Christ to reach out to the youths, tell them what God has done for her and showcase God's light. Be a leader, not a follower, Be the first and not the last, Be above and not Beneath, Be a success and not a failure. INTRODUCTION

My Vision, My Mission, My Passion

I have two charitable organisations which aim to encourage, empower, impact, and inspire youth by showcasing God’s work.

    The Marian Adejokun Foundation

The Marian Adejokun Foundation’s mission is to spread awareness of the deadly Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), which most people are unaware of. It provides the public and medical communities with information on adverse reactions, so that a quick diagnosis may be made and the offending drug stopped as soon as possible. The public needs to know what to look for when taking any drug and to seek medical attention immediately.

The foundation also encourages people who are sick by visiting them in their homes or in hospitals and praying with them, letting them know that there is hope and that God never fails.

God has been so good to me. He has had mercy upon my life.

    Stevens Johnson syndrome (SJS)

SJS is a severe adverse reaction to a medication. It was named after two US paediatricians who described it in 1922. It affects around two people per million and is more common among women. Symptoms include skin rashes; blisters in the mouth, ears, and nose; and swelling of the eyelids. If left untreated, the condition can result in death. Possible complications include permanent blindness and lung damage.

Once a patient has been diagnosed, doctors will immediately stop him or her from taking the offending drug. Treatment includes IV fluids and high calorie formulas to promote healing. Antibiotics are given when necessary to prevent secondary infections such as sepsis. Pain medications such as morphine can make the patient more comfortable.

    Reach out to All

My vision, mission, and passion in life are inspired by God. He has called me to reach out to the youth, as well as to everyone else, to share Christ’s message and encourage people to never give up on their dreams.

My life testifies that all things are possible through God! I want to use my life story to inspire those who feel downtrodden, forsaken, or lacking in purpose. I want them to know about God’s promises and love. I want people to know that they can achieve anything once they put their minds to it. And finally I want to share this message: Jesus loves you.

Personally, I don’t know where I would be if not for God’s grace. I thank God I am alive and able to share his goodness with the world.

John 3:30 says, ‘He must become greater and I must become less.’

In Revelation 2:8–11, we read the ‘Message to Smyrna’:

To the angel of the church in Smyrna write:

"This is the message from the one who is the first and the last, who died and lived again. / I know your troubles; I know that you are poor—but really you are rich! I know the evil things said against you by those who claim to be Jews but are not; they are a group that belongs to Satan! / Don’t be afraid of anything you are about to suffer. Listen! The Devil will put you to the test by having some of you thrown into prison, and your troubles will last ten days. Be faithful to me, even if it means death, and I will give you life as your prize of victory.

If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches!

Those who win the victory will not be hurt by the second
