This is a story of a mothers spiritual journey to healing, from the daily writings and music my son left behind. Moes song, Raining in Detroit, inspired me to write this book. In his voice, I heard and felt the pain of the city. His voice was a voice for change to help others through his writings and musicto win their battle with spiritual warfare and to share with them, that there is hope within all of us to fight the fight of this negative world.

We all struggle in our own daily lives; do we ever truly know another person? I have been on a great healing journey through this book. I have come to find peace and love in my life. I have been very fortunate that my son left his journals and writings, knowing him for his true self. His writings are an inspiration to me, to see the world through his eyes. I can honestly say I am proud to have been his mother. What an honor, thank you God for this creativity.

Preface

Brian Motyka lived with the many struggles of spiritual warfare and the Evils within this world. Brian wrote daily many of his emotions, trials, and the psychological warfare he was experiencing. In this book you will find many of his writings from different stages and times of his life, Brian’s ups and downs of living in a cruel world. Brian did his best trying to keep it all together, spiritually, socially and mentally. Brian said it best "worked so hard to make the insane
