Tisean Bell has been writing poetry for over 10 years and is very passionate about this art form. Aside from poetry she also loves other forms of art including Graphic Design, Theatre, & Music. She is a graduate of California University of PA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Communications and also a Graduate of Kean University with a Master of Science Degree in Graphic Communications Management. Her drive to write words that people can feel and relate to shows in each piece she creates.

You have been nothing short of amazing.

Thank you for ALWAYS being there.

When I began writing poetry it was merely an outlet to express my feelings better and more effectively. I had no idea how much exhilaration I would feel after releasing my thoughts. Ironically enough I don’t write my poems down until the piece is completed in my head. I simply put my words on paper to commit them to memory. It is an indescribable feeling & I believe I have something to offer the world.

We all go through ups and downs in relationships. I feel this book will bridge the gap between people of all walks of life. Everyone has at one time or another experienced some form of love and can relate to the good, the bad, and the ugly that comes with it. I feel that it is what we do with the lessons we learn that will make all the difference in our lives. I pray all of you who come into contact with my words will receive something meaningful from them and always have a strong faith in the greatest human emotional force: LOVE.

I thank my heavenly father from whom this gift of expression was given. Without him and my continual time in prayer, none of this would have come to fruition. Thank you Lord for Suitland Road Baptist Church. You have placed those people in my life to pray for me and to be positive examples to help me through this journey and walk with you and I am indeed grateful.

I thank my mother, the amazingly beautiful Deneen Bell, who always encouraged me to say what I felt and to always believe in myself. I love you mom, your continued support & belief in me made me into the woman I am today.

I thank my brother, my mini-twin, Shane Bell. You are such a blessing in my life. You are the epitome of a fine young man. I will always do my best to be the greatest sister/friend to you that I can be! I love you!

I thank my dad Edward Bell. Growing up I was always Daddy’s Little Girl. Deep down inside I still am. I love you!

I thank my cousin Michelle Oliver who has known my passion for writing since we were kids. Michelle, remember those summers where all we did was write? Thank you for always supporting me and your unfaltering concern for my well being! I love you!
