In 1995, he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after having apocalyptic psychotic delusions. By God’s grace and through much faithful support, he served another dozen years in full-time ministry.Many people with mental illness are angry at God, at believers in Jesus Christ, and at faith communities. People within churches struggle to understand mental illness in light of Biblical teaching.
