In this book we will also introduce The Black Erykah Kane. Erykah is an afro-centric business woman who has a joyful spirit. She is the owner and operator of E. Kane Corporations. We will also take a glimpse into her private life, and her undying love for her high school sweetheart. But like any other story Erykah runs into many obstacles that she must overcome.
You will have two different stories locked into one book. And Im sure a series will soon follow.

Dear Sister of Mine,

Once upon a time I had a sister. She was like a protector, a friend, and just my Big sister. My question is where did you go? I can’t seem to find you. Twenty one years ago your life began to change, you had issues from before but you overcame that adversity. Sometime after that the drugs started to play a role in your life, the stealing began, the lies took over, and the distrust grew more and more every day.

Dear stranger,

Who the hell are you and what have you done with my sister. The person that I once knew disappeared and evolved into this unknown person. Now living as a middle aged woman this life is still apart of you. The embarrassment that you caused is so unreal. Our Mother, our brother, your son, and myself. I can’t allow you to embarrass me anymore, I can’t allow your actions to dictate my life.

Dear stranger,

You never fully had to grow up. You have never taken responsibility for your actions, so when people come to me and give me their sob story of what you have done to them I could care less, and I tell them to get in line because the things you have done to them is nowhere near as bad as the things you have done to your own family.

So Dear Stranger,

whoever you may be, please go away and get the help that you so need, and while you’re gone if you happen to see or talk to My Dear Sister tell her Monica, Byron, John, and A-iah miss her dearly and wish that she returns soon.

Dear Diary,

They say that you are a book of secrets, where people keep their most intimate thoughts and feelings. Well Diary… we have a lot to talk about. I have a crazy mind and a lot of deep dark secrets that I’ve never told a single soul. I love that I can write in you and not be judged about the things that I am going to reveal in you. My life has never been simple. I’ve had a lot more downs than ups, every time I have an up it’s always short lived. I cry a lot!
