The Intro
I can relate to the rejection every time,
She was released, She’d relapsed.
I couldn’t create a constant connection,
Her love for me wasn’t stronger.
Than crack I pleaded patiently,
Hoping for a pleasant pledge.
But all I got was lies,
Pain and excuses instead.
The Script
Her mom came in and she began to weep
She wept because she hadn’t seen her mom in weeks
She turned to her mom and began to speak
Her tears were heavy and her voice was weak
"Mommy, why are you a fiend? Why don’t you leave? Why don’t you love us and give us what we need? Why did you have me if you didn’t plan to be there?
