Big thanks to my Mom for loving me endlessly and being so supportive of me in everything I chose to do, and to my little brother Dave and sister Moya for believing in me. Thanks to every one who inspired me, Patrice Simpson, Miss Love, Amanda, Teto, Fabian, I love you all. Shout out to AbenaDesigns and Taste Infusion (my creative kitchen). Thanks to my spiritual family y’all know yourselves because you’re surrounding me through thick and thin. Last but not the least, my baby girl and the special person in my life. I hope I haven’t left anyone out and if I do, you’re still in my heart.
Introduction
Remember! Life is NOW, this minute not NEXT
However, do not fail to plan or plan to fail
Leaving room for the’ surprises
With HOPE which is the stimulus from NOW to NEXT . . .
Experiment to gain Experience
With Love, Life and Universe.
These poems are written from various experiences, from me and other people whom I’ve met on the journey in the path of life with different thoughts and emotions about different situations. The subtitles depict stages through the journey of my life. I hope the readers can relate to them in their own distinctive way.
EARLY DAYS
Early Days.jpg301208-FRAN-layout-low.pdfDeeper Thoughts
Look at her and picture this
She appears to me like the mist
And disappears like the wind
She is un-attached, no strings
Yet when I need her most
A wonderful encouraging host
She is always there
I just know it she cares
I look deep into her soul
I can reach out and feel what it holds
And see through her pain
Like blood oh! How it stains
She never says a word
Which I think is quite absurd
She never expresses her true feelings
Strange . . . but some how through me she is healing
Twisted emotions and agony
Yet still for me, she has sympathy
Lost love and burning pain
Listening to me cry over and over again
Each day of the years after
It hits me like a disaster
I finally came to realize
We are empty without each other’s side.

Something has happened to me
I would never quite allowed to be
I don’t know how come
I just can’t find the control buttons to this one
Never knew I could share myself in two
Until the very day I met you
Things are so strange
Once I would never allowed my life to be re-arranged
I don’t know what you want out of this
I don’t know what’s on your mind
