My name is Andrew Zackery and yes Im a very hard worker coming from the Deep South in Georgia. I played football, track and baseball back in my younger days, however semi pro football was my major sport. My jock name was Coffee. I worked in a printing shop at the age of 8 and loved ever minute of it. I worked in several youth centers with children that came from broken homes. I was the first male counselor to council an all girl center in North Newark. I also counsel two youth centers, Shuman House and Victory House both located on Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Newark NJ (formerly named High Street). I also graduated from nursing school located on Evergreen Place in East Orange NJ. I was one of two male students in a class of 100 students.

As a resident of Woodbridge NJ, I was employed by the Woodbridge Police Department as a school crossing guard. I was known as one of the best if not the best that ever held the post on the corner of School and Main Streets. Most of the people referred to me as the dancing guard and the people of the township loved it.

This is my first book which I truly enjoyed writing and no doubt there will be more to come.

My name is Andrew Zackery. I am pleased to say this is my second book. My first book titled “The Art of Love and Music” was a great achievement for me. I’ve received many congratulatory comments and remarks which filled my heart with joy. I am now retired and devote much of my time to my craft as “The Author” and caring for my grandchildren, who are the love of my life. I hope you find enjoyment reading this book. Chapter 1

The real meaning of the everlasting memories is the true art of music!

Quotes from the greatest songwriter of our times, which has no ending—rather than the reality of what it is saying. It’s the values of life that we all learn to accept during those wonderful young years that you and I grew to know.

Meanings

We listen to the artist who helped turn our lives around. We didn’t fall in love with the music; however, music was the key to the words in which the singers poured out their hearts, for in other words, music—lyrics and words—are only those precious feelings that caused the artist to put into words what we all experience, though not the same. But that is what makes music so beautiful. It brings forth beautiful feelings and contentment, meaning no one has the same feelings of love, and that’s the way it should be; however, love has no ending. Love is everlasting even beyond our lives and, as you know, we are all humans and share the same interest. But even though that is true, we are different in the way that we feel—! That’s what makes us different.

Listen, what I’m about to say has more meaning than life itself! How many times have you heard the words if only I could do it over again, especially listening to that certain song. But you see, even though that song that you are listening too has all of the things which you need to help you put those thoughts together, this doesn’t mean anything because the understanding of what is being said doesn’t help because your feelings has clouded your thinking ability, and without this you’re at a total loss. Now as the years go by, you find yourself saying, if only I could have understood what those words meant. So now that it has passed you by, how will you handle that same situation which will come again and again? Well, there is this word which we know as KNOWLEDGE, which is one powerful word. However, getting past this word has no meaning of wisdom unless you learned from your past experiences that is the only reason you can prosper from those past mistakes because that is what they were—just little misunderstandings that we all had to face at one point in our lifetime.

Another thing is we can’t forget about the past; but hey, you’re not supposed too! That is the key of knowing how to adjust to the next situation you will face. If you live, you’ll be confronted again and again until you acknowledge the pros and cons of what true love consists of. It’s just beautiful words and music combined together. Once you can conquer this thing, it will become more meaningful; for without KNOWLEDGE and understanding, nothing will ever change. So, you see. It is really up to you.

No one can do it for you, things happen sometimes for the best. It’s still up to you to correct what went wrong, even though what you had no longer exists. Life goes on. That’s where that precious word KNOWLEDGE comes in (smile). Yes, it’s simple but not so easy to grasp. This is what I mean, mistakes are meant to happen. The reason why I say this is because if there were no mistakes made involving a man or woman, there would be no knowledge of what love really meant. Sometimes you wonder why the relationship between a man and a woman who have been together for years comes to a bitter end. Well, there is no real way of knowing what happened between these two people after such a good relationship—making plans that are exciting and sharing each and every thought with each other. But then, the unthinkable happens—couples stop sharing all of the beautiful thoughts they shared throughout the years with each other. This brings forth sorrow, and at that precise moment, your dreams become tragedy. Not knowing it, but your biggest mistakes become public and funny.

The way things work are beyond your wildest dreams, and what’s about to happen becomes a reality. How could you know? They were your friends since childhood.You see, misery loves company. Instead of being happy for us, they’re out to make your life a living HELL. Now what I mean by that is, instead of sharing your happiness, giving you all their blessing, Guess what? Now, the lies come in to play, the biggest part of your life and it’s not going to be pretty.

Have you ever heard of the old saying, Never let your left hand know what your right hand is doing? It is an old quote that has caused too many headaches—meaning it’s better to keep your focus between you and your partner. In other words, keep everyone guessing. This way nothing and no one can come between the two of you. That’s the key to happiness. You will probably ask yourself, Why? There are some people who haven’t experienced that glorious feeling of what true love means and consists of. Rather than being happy for you, they’ll do whatever it takes to destroy your relationship with your lady. Sad but true! Listen, love is one of Gods’ most precious blessings. You might ask how something so beautiful can bring so much misery. Well, we all think that we understand what love means—and we do; but love has a way of turning completely around. You might say, I’ve done everything that I can or could; however, let’s pause for a minute and go back to that incident that happened and you didn’t care to explain it to your other half simply because you thought it wasn’t necessary, which is one of the biggest mistakes couples make. However, whatever our reasons, as the old saying goes, What happens in the dark will surely come to the light, and that’s a fact. Regardless of how long, you can bank on it. Someone always sees without your knowledge of it. Why should they care—it’s none of their concern. Yes, that’s true; however, that’s not how it works; sad to say—but true. Life goes on, and the world keeps on turning.

Now, what’s the next move in order for you to keep what you have together? Ask for one more time for the good times. Now, the hard part comes in to play. It’s all on you but it doesn’t stop there because you really love this person.

I know that I’ve done wrong. Can you forgive me? If not, I think I can understand. I can never see tomorrow without seeing today. So how can I mend your broken heart and let us live again? No one has told us about tomorrow. What makes the world go round without you in my life?

It seems to be the hardest thing that I’ve ever had to deal with. For the one that I truly loved and love is no longer in my life. La, La, La, means that I love you and only you can brighten up my life and fill up my heart. Without you, there is no me. Like Marvin Gaye said, Let’s get it on if the love is true. You know what I’m talking about. Stop a minute and think before moving on, I’ve loved you too long to stop now. Another great quote from one of the greatest song of our time—Sitting on the dock of the bay, and it doesn’t stop there. "Have a little tenderness because I’ll be there. I knew what to say but those words just slipped away. Whenever you call me, I’ll be there calling out your name. So stand by me. Yes, I’ve made mistakes. It wasn’t that I didn’t care or love you. I just didn’t really understand how much you meant to me. But you must know, baby; I truly love everything about you. Just let me know what you want me to do. Open up your heart and I’ll be there to make your dreams come true. What I’m saying, your every wish is my command because, baby, I miss you.

Sometimes in our lives, we all have worries. Please swallow your pride because we all need someone to lean on. We can carry this load together. That’s what true love is all about. I want to share something. I’ll be there to share the love. Just reach out to me, and I will be there.

The love we saved today is our own. I’ve never seen so many love affairs end without anyone trying to get to the bottom of the reason why! Love has always carried all kinds of faults. That’s what makes it so beautiful, although, sometimes, very painful!

Now here is the true test. Coming together as one to see if what we have together as one is worth saving—the only way this can become a reality is for the two of us to come together and work on whatever the problem is in this situation. There is no other means or reason why love is a many-splendored thing. Sometimes good, then on the other hand, just when you and your partner think everything’s groovy—up jumps the bad. You find yourself saying what a difference a day makes, but it doesn’t stop there for these are the days of our lives together, and baby what a night, just me and you in this glow of love. How sweet it is (smile). So now, our ship has come and gone. We’re on the Midnight Train to Georgia, but it doesn’t stop there. Now, we’re walking in the rain, on the outside looking in, holding hands, Baby, Baby, Baby.

This is our love affair, together. For without you there is no me! Now these are the days of our lives. What a rush! Just getting to know you and sharing all of my love with you. Baby, you and I have truly shared the good, the bad, and the ugly throughout this love triangle that we both share together.

Hey baby, guess what? There is no ending to our love because, you see, each and every time we meet, there is always something on my mind. If that is not loving you then all I got to say is, what does love have to do with it? Sometimes, when I’m all alone sitting in this room, just the thought of you brightens up my whole world. It’s as if someone or something turned the switch on. I guess what I’m saying is to be with or near you is my light, or so it seems. Honey, when we are apart, I’m in a world of darkness. That is the power of our love affair. If you want to know the truth about it, I just want to spend my whole life with you and only you. I was sitting in my lonely room, you know, just going over my lifetime with no intentions of writing anything; however, with each and every thought that came into my mind, not knowing what was happening, I found myself writing about all of those sad and, oh yes, sometimes if not often, the beautiful meaning of those precious moments that was shared throughout my lifetime. But it doesn’t just stop there. You see, if I were given by God the ability to have lived for a hundred years, I’d still be writing all about the sweet memories that you and I shared with those that we loved. And yes, I said those we shared our love to and with. So why not give each of them a standing ovation! Just show, if nothing else, how precious they really were regardless of the outcome. Think about it, to have and never lost, then, my friends, something is missing.—For love never has and never will have closure, for it is everlasting. That’s why I love you.

Oh! What a beautiful feeling. Now check this out—that is the reason why God made man and woman to be together. A man without his other half, which is that special lady, would be incomplete. There is no way of not knowing the things that I’m saying. Maybe I should make myself somewhat clearer. There wouldn’t be a world without a man and a woman. Now you’re getting my point of view. Ha! Ha! yes! I love you. Now, I’m going to go even deeper for this is only the beginning. Let’s talk about sex and the power it carries. What I’m about to explain to everyone who’s reading my book is that what I would like for all of you to do is just sit next to that special lady that you’re with (smile).Sex wasn’t meant to be abused nor taken for granted. It was Gods’ way of bringing man and woman together to multiply. It all started in the Garden of Eden. All that was asked of us, coming from our creator, was not to avoid temptation. On the other hand, we were asked not to be tempted. Now, what I’m saying is, even to this day, temptation has destroyed some of the most talented and educated people of our times. Just think what kind of life you and I would be sharing as I write to you.

There would be no shame for pain and sorrow. In other words, we would be sharing all of the glorious and beautiful moments that God had planned for us, to live throughout our days upon this earth. But you know these things happened before our time. So I ask myself, How can I know the difference from then and now? Listen, for all of the sorrow and lonely moments that I’ve been confronted with, dealing with women of all natures, I wouldn’t turn back the hands of time. In other words, there is no way one can understand or miss all of the beautiful moments that God gave to both Adam and Eve. There is no way of being able to miss or grieve over something that you never had the chance of experiencing. Now, don’t get me wrong. This just happened to be the way that I myself feel. But, on the other hand, your way of thinking may be just the opposite of mine. Who is to say your right or wrong? There were times when I thought I was carrying the whole world on my shoulders, but then I would drop whatever I was doing, go back to those things that my Mom taught me about life and how to handle whatever your situation may be. She would look at me with that certain smile on her face, [a smile that only she could make]. Those feelings that you’re having are only parts of life that you will experience until your dying day. The key to all of this comes with a very heavy price—meaning, even though we aren’t in the times of Adam and Eve, we still have to suffer from their disobedience to God’s word to each of them.

Now back to me. I use my mind to benefit from their mistakes; however, it doesn’t mean that I haven’t gone through life without trying to mend my broken heart. You see, in order for anyone to experience the feeling of what a broken heart is, people I must tell you that you’ve never had the pleasure of what love truly means, because of all of those beautiful moments of love also comes the pain and joy. So I’m about to tell you something for there are no words to describe my true feelings. However, I can give some advice because love is love and that’s just what it means. So from me to you, I’ve learned that it takes not only your strong mind but also your partners, for they go together. One can’t work without the other. Now that’s a hell of a statement. With it, you’re always able to overcome those pains. Without it, life will forever be lonely for you. I got to go now—move on to something else for my mind is on fire!

Chapter 2

Oh, what a day and how time has just slipped away. Listen, even though that’s true, you see, I’m a fighter. The harder things come to me, I just take a seat and begin to think because there is something on my mind. The only way for me to get to the bottom of what’s bothering me is for me to get down and I mean deep until I can understand what’s happening concerning the situation that I now have to deal with. I could never see tomorrow, trying to see what makes the world go round. This is another great quote of our times.

People, all I’m saying to you is this: what and how you can stop a heart from breaking and mend a broken heart. Well as for me, it became whole again. Let me tell you how it all happened! Sometimes I amaze myself in the way I’m able to express the deepest feelings of what I call the good times. Now, to each and every reader of my book, check out what I’m about to say about the good times. This love of mine is only true to me. Of course, to you who join me in my invitation to know what love is, all I have to say is have a litte tenderness. That is my love prayer. So only to those of you who are feeling me and understand where I’m coming from can this be a reality. I will express this because this is coming straight from my heart, and that is to say, you could only understand what I’m saying—meaning you have been tested in the glow of true love. There is no
