This a book formed from real life situations. Taking different parts that someone can go through in life and making them into something that opens up a door. That shows others their not alone. Everyone goes through things in life. Some of us just have bigger ones the others. Everything in this book wasn’t mint to fit to everyone’s circumstances, nor are they mint to be problems solutions.
There is a wide range of life situations in this book from romance, to spiritual belief. Something’s in this book may relate to some while other things won’t but don’t get discouraged cause there may be something in this book for everyone. Everyone has their own creative mind and hopefully this book will open up some creative things, you might not have thought of or even open up your mind to possibilities that could be.
Everyone’s minds work in a different way and perceive things differently than others, so my point of view on something may not be the same as your, cause everyone has their own point of view on different situations.
The purpose of this book is to open your eyes to different possibilities, whether it is a certain problem or even a new creative state of mind. So enjoy and hopefully this book will inspire you like it has already inspired so many.
About Donell Jackson
Every since I was younger I always had a dream. To be everything that my parent, could not be and show the world that there’s more in life then drugs, alcohol and being feared by others, there’s the choice to help the world and make a difference to those who never had someone to help them though life. All the things that I’ve learn, I’ve learned on my own and from reading everything that I thought would help me in my life. I was born in Sarasota, Florida in 1982.
Not realizing there I would have the chance to make a difference in the world and not realizing that these changes would come from writing a couple of words in a Fashion that would make an impact on others. I’m no Martin Luther King, but I have a dream to help other see so much more out of life through poetry. I have a lot of other talents that I will explore in do time, like drawing, music production and designing the worlds next best game.
I also want to provide my kids with everything I couldn’t experience as a child. So many things I couldn’t experience as a child, because hard times consume the world. But I’m here now; to change the world through this dream I have, called poetry. So open up your minds and your hearts, so I can show you how creative I can really be through poetry. With my first book of poetry titled Beyond your life is poetry
. Those who would like to learn how to write poetry, there is something in my book for you also.
History and a
little knowledge
Poetry as an art may have predated literacy. Earliest poetry spoken or song, the oldest surviving poem is the Epic Of Gilgamesh
. From 3rd millennium bc in Iraq 3000 + yrs. Ago. The poetry appears on fragments found on early in crimps and stones. Now poetry is used to express feelings such as love, feeling sad, happy, frustrated, depressed, lonely, angry, mad, scared etc. What other emotions can you think of that I didn’t mention?
What do you see poetry as and how does it play a role in your life?
Poetry expresses all your life’s movements. Everything that you go through in life, you can make it into a poem. It can be used to let out your feeling, it can be used to relax (lessoning to poetry), and it can be a way to get a message across or a way to reflect upon the world. You can take every step you take in life and make it into a word, after you get enough words, you can form a verse. Which can form a poem, which makes you a poet. Now your life is poetry in motion.
Poetry doesn’t have to have a certain pace or speed, however It comes to you that how you say It or write it. Poetry has expanded to dancing all the movements that a human body can form, in a high pace or a slow pace. Just from movement of the arms or legs. The way you pronounce poetry can make a huge impact on the audience or the way you write a verse can melt a heart. It all comes with style and the pronunciation of a particular group of words. You have to feel what you say or what you hear and hopefully it can suck you in the place that they speak of.
Later on in this book I’ll introduce you to some different style of poetry and break down, how easy It really Is to write poems/poetry, so that one day you might become a poet as well. If you can dream it, is possible.
What is something that you always have to do in life?
Choose
So you be the judge.
Some things are hard to explain
Other things just happens
The original color of a rose is red
But the emotions of life have
Changed the colors,
Like they ran though a rainbow and
Gained a different emotion for each color
If I gave you my heart
What color would it be and why?
I know some things are hard to explain
But red pretty much explains them all
Red is used to express
Love, lust, a kiss, a hug and
Is also used, just to set the mood
Well you choose the right color for the right mood
And
My heart will decide weather
I was made for you.
What is something in life we would all like to see?
Perfect Beauty
So clear your mind
Beauty is the most magnificent thing
You really can’t explain it
All there is to say is that
Beauty is beauty
When you don’t have to add anything nor
Take anything away
Or change any shape or curves
That your body naturally forms
Just like a rose
When you see it
It’s as perfect as can be and
When I look
