Throughout his educational years he continued to thrive as an Honor Roll student.
James always had a passion for writing since the 6th grade, but he was very shy about sharing his thoughts and opinions. Poetry entered his life at age 11. Listening to R&B and Rap music, James understood how such artists portrayed their feelings and emotions into verses, but he didn't want to do just that. James wanted to express his thoughts and feelings without being like an actual music artist. Throughout James high school years, his poems developed and in his junior and senior years of high school, more friends and family came to recognized hid abilities and talent with his poetry.view less
