Yogi Bhajan was declared a Master of Kundalini Yoga at the age of 16. He came to the United States in 1969 and openly taught this transformative technology for the next 35 years, until his last breath in Aug 2004. THE MANIFESTATION OF MOTHER NATURE THROUGH WOMAN, THE FIRST TEACHER

July 5, 1976

The average woman today is being subjected to human cruelty and she has no defense against it. From the time she is born she is considered to be a second class citizen not only in America but all around the world. And there are very few exceptions. Secondly, the cost of the security necessary to protect her from mugging, rape, insults and injuries is considered to be an extra burden for the family. So there is a subconscious resentment. Thirdly, as an adult the woman does not have the same career opportunity that a man has. It is rarely considered that a woman can be a good doctor or a good attorney. For the most part, the only jobs available to her are those of housecleaner, floor scrubber, baby sitter, secretary or other menial work. So to be very honest, if you want to assess it truthfully, the woman is not considered to be a full citizen. Even in marriage men do not normally feel it is a privilege to have a strong woman behind them. Instead, they relate to her as a servant, or as a piece of property. This is the behavior pattern of discrimination against women that has developed. Before the time of Guru Nanak, there was not one holy man who would speak out against this discrimination. Guru Nanak was the first prophet to openly raise his voice for the equality of women. He said, Bhand jameeai, bhand neemieh, bhanday karovia: How can you call that being inferior, she who has given birth to the king and queen and all the subjects of their kingdom? In the end he said, So kio mandar kieh jia ja mera jan: How can you call that person low or unequal who has given birth to the politician, king, queen and all subjects? This concept did not sit well with the ritualistic people of Guru Nanak's time and because of it, Guru Nanak went through a period of heavy slander. Guru Nanak said, Koee kahai bud na, koee kahai patala: Somebody tells me I am a ghost, somebody tells me I am a spirit, somebody tells me I am out of my head. The same Guru Nanak that people bow to today was said to be crazy by the people of his day because of his stand in favor of women.

Even in this modern world, how fashionable is it when a woman at thirty-three is asked to quit? What is wrong? Has she lost her womanly charm? Can you believe that? At thirty-three she is not competent for work. It was not very long ago in this great democracy when women made a lot of noise about the right to vote. Even today as a woman you cannot ask for credit. Even today.

As long as humanity does not learn to respect the woman, there will be no peace on this earth. There will be a war always. In our society, woman is used as a tool of the advertising industry; her sexuality is exploited to sell automobiles and whiskey. The most graceful being on this planet is treated disgracefully as a playmate, as a sexual toy. When we treat the mother of our next generation in such a lowly, negative manner, how can we expect the human condition to improve? This is the first time that a judge in San Francisco let a couple of prostitutes go. He said, Well they do it for money, what about those who will pay the money? Where are they? Because they are men we let them go, but that is not justice.

The woman has been exploited so much by the male of this society that now she is pressing for equality with a determination that is almost neurotic. it is good that this pressure is at last beginning to make a difference, but there are also going to be serious consequences. The woman is the only one who can teach her child tenderness and compassion. It is this exposure to gentleness in the lap of the mother for the first seven years of life that teaches a man to be just, tolerant and compassionate in his dealings with others. And when that tenderness will be lost, we will not have compassionate males. What will be the result? The result will be a lot more killing, a lot more war. This is what we can expect to happen to humanity in less than one hundred years if this trend is not stopped.

The entire nervous system, and consequently the entire capacity of a person for self-control, is determined by the touch of a mother. All human character, which has that gentleness for which humanity is proud, comes from the gentle touch of the woman. Our entire value of acceptance of others, hospitality, compassion, pain for others, thinking for others, giving, sacrificing, welcoming,--- all this is learned in the lap of the mother. There is a saying in the scriptures that, Whatever goodness a man has, it is learned in the lap of his mother. That is how important the institution of a woman as a mother is in our society.

The man has sixteen times less tolerance and thirty-two times less compassion than a woman. Yet, we are recording in 1976 that woman is a second rate creature. Woman is the one human creature who can turn her blood into milk for surviving the human generation. There once was a lady customs officer in my command. I told her, You can do any job that I can do. She looked around and said, Are you sure? I said, Yes. She said, How can you be so sure? I said, If a woman can produce a child out of her womb, she can do anything. She looked around a second time. She said, Okay pray for me. I said, No. It is the prayer of the woman that sustains the earth, not the prayer of the man. And that is the fundamental truth.

Through so many exploits this human creature is going through so many insults, and still this human creature is maintaining her radiance and the grace. Because this human creature known as woman is actually a fountain of divine spirit. She can produce anything. Science can produce all the material things of this earth but cannot produce a system which has the intelligence of compassion of woman. It is impossible. The day you can produce the intelligence of mother's compassion, you can produce God. God and a woman's compassion are not two different things.

In spite of what is said these days, men and women are entirely different creatures. Even in the realm of consciousness, men and women face very different realities. The environment; therefore, which woman should be raised from the birth to her death is absolutely different from the male. Woman has four paths to liberation from which to choose, but the man has only one. Man must live righteously and be divine. That is the only way he can be liberated. But woman has this same path plus three others: she can give birth to a man of divine righteousness; she can serve a man of divine righteousness; or she can be a wife to a man of divine righteousness.

In common language, woman is called the better half and yet this neurotic, idiotic, schizophrenic idiot who calls himself a man out of ego started putting down woman for a lot of reasons. First is jealousy, second is incompetency, third is his rude behavior, and fourth is his brain structure. Man's nervous system needs to be fed, smoothed, and consoled. The brain structure of a man is not designed to give continuous support. Woman, on the other hand, is complete in this area. Try an experiment. Make a man work alone for six months without any contact with woman and see what happens. He shouldn't talk about woman, see a woman, read about woman. You will have a living neurotic on your hands. A man needs the soothing and warming effect of life that comes from the words and gestures of woman.

Now you will ask me, If the woman is so great, why does she chase the man? The answer is because she is attracted to the male fragrance. Man has an odor about him that you cannot smell, but that has the power of attraction in it. I am just translating the scriptures to you, I am not adding anything. It is called male fragrance. Whenever the density of that fragrance reaches a certain level, woman gets attracted. It is a biological and absolutely human phenomenon. This is how God has made this whole scheme.

Finally, on a psychological and sociological basis the woman needs a puppet to look to and that puppet should act as a hero. She has a desire to make him act as a hero. A universal creativity is a part of each woman; she wants to make a man look great, be great, or pretend great. The entire mess in the society is because of that instinct in woman. She wants to produce a great man. If she cannot make the real, she wants him to fake the real.

The trouble in this society is that ninety-two percent of all men are fakes. We call them banana men. These wonderful bananas are not intuitive, but are emotional reactors of the environment. I am teaching you this science because this is the science of humanity, the science of humanology, so that when you take the role of a woman and a mother you may try to bring these fake creatures, known as egocentric, egomaniac men, to their positive potential. Woman is the culprit who is responsible for the existence of these fakes. No psychological therapy can give a male confidence if it doesn't come through the mother. The foundation has to be laid by the mother in the first three years. These first thousand days of each child, male or female, are most important. They are called the foundation of the man to be.

Woman is spelled as w-o-man, but if you pronounce it correctly, it is double-you-oh-man. Man is fifty per cent of a woman. The word is powerful. In the beginning the word was with God and the word was God. In the word female are the words male and fe. Fe means the essence and male means man. Female means the essence of the male.

In the Western world if you have to publically address a woman, you will say, She is my better half, but if she is not married, you will call her a chick.

A woman can walk two roads: the road of the chick and the road of the eagle. You want to be a spoon of a restaurant, or do you want to be a spoon the size of a shovel? If you do not put the grill of modesty, grace, and character around you, there is nothing on earth which cannot let you not be exploited. Your only saving factor is to put around you the strongest grill of your radiance of a woman. Let nothing exploit you. Don't fall in temptation. Attempt to avoid temptation on the part of a trapper. This banana man is a very expert trapper. He lays his trap and hardly lives it more than a week. These men have certain fundamental qualities. They are very sweet to talk to, very charming in their manners, knowledgeable, and when they get mad, they are indirect. Stay away from any male who is indirect to you when he is angry. The minimum distance is nine feet. That is the radius of the aura. When a male cannot express his anger directly to a woman, he is not a male at all. This is the one fool-proof test. These men have got the whole thing figured out. Not that they have those qualities, but they decorate themselves with those qualities. These banana men are like our modern traps for attracting, sucking in, and killing insects. There is absolutely no difference between these men and those traps in attraction, behavior and quality.

Who is responsible for creating these men? If the mother does not give confidence and love, when the man grows to adulthood, he becomes revengeful. A saying in the scriptures goes: The mother can create a God, or she can create a demon. She is the one who writes the destiny on the forehead of the male. They call it kudrat, Mother Nature. Father is God, kudrat is Nature. Mother Nature writes the destiny of the child when the soul enters the womb on the 120th day. Whatever character the mother gives to the child in the first three years becomes his first fundamental permanent foundation of character. The next four years, up to the seventh year, are the second coat, and all she can give the child is up to the eleventh year. After this time, the child will become more a friend than a disciple of character. Therefore, whatever a mother has to give a child must be given within the first eleven years.

Do you know the difference between these two words? The first one is divine and the other is divinity? Divine is considered to be God, and divinity to be woman, the creation, kudrat manifestation, divine and divinity, Purkha and Prakirty, God and its creation, ying and yang, positive and negative are there to create the light. The scriptures say woman is the source of consciousness. As a female, as a woman, as a grace of God, you can play a fundamental basic human role: to uplift the consciousness of humanity. If humanity has been sustained up to today, it is because of the temperamental tolerance of the woman. The idea of having this woman's course is not to talk to or teach the woman, but to analyse, study, and create woman in image, form and action.

Q: If the woman is the essence, and woman can make the man great, then can she help the banana men?

A: Yes she can. All she has to do is become a woman. Woman does not need any tool, any weapon, reason, or logic. Even just one woman will work. There is a story. A man was very handsome and beautiful. He was sitting home while the woman went to work the whole day in the field. Coming back, she had a big bale of hay on her head, a pair of bullocks walking in front, and guiding a big buffalo pulling a large cart full of what she had picked that day. It was almost the work of five people. Somebody mocked that man, saying, Hey, you sit here as a free-loader and she is a real worker. The woman replied, No, in the evening I would like to look at the face of a very real, rested man. The hard work didn't bother her; all she wanted was to see the face of a very rested, and peaceful man.

Men are very unrestful and crazy. They have no smoothness unless someone is there to sooth them. This soothing comes from nowhere on this earth except by the appearance, words and gestures of a woman. When a woman wants to raise someone's blood pressure, hardly any medicine can keep him cool. When woman wants a man to be insane, even God cannot protect that man.

Q: Are all saints males?

A: A saint does not mean male or female. You have certain words because you were raised as Christians. Woman was produced from the seventh rib of a male. The seventh rib is a yogic concept. If you do not let me be killed by these Christians, I'll tell you the greatest story today. The seventh rib is one meridian point in the human body which can alter the breathing through the ida and pingala; it holds the pranic energy, also known as the spirit. God took the spirit out of the man and created woman; not his rib, not his piece of bone. Now it is not possible for me to correct the Christian Bible. But when you grow in majority, and your Dharma rules this earth, at that moment correct it. At this time just listen to it and keep it with you.

Q: Please define flirtation.

A: Flirtation is the art in a woman of not considering the pros and cons of her radiance and grace, but catering to the environment temporarily in her social, emotional and sentimental aspects. That is a quality of the moon. Because she represents the moon, woman has a faculty to be trapped by a flirtatious mind. Woman never flirts; her mind flirts, and a definite pattern of behavior is required to control it. There are two ways in which a man can get to a woman. One is through the male's fragrance. The other is through her mind. The male moon center, in the chin, has hair on it; therefore, it is steady. The female moon center, also in the chin, does not have hair; therefore, she fluctuates more than the male. It is like the waxing and waning of the moon. In 28 days of her menstruation cycle, her moon can be found in eleven areas of the body, called the eleven limbs of a woman.

Mother is the only person on this planet who can discipline the child and infuse him with spirit. The Siri Guru Granth Sahib says the first teacher is the mother, gurdev mata. Second is gurdev pita, the father; third is the relatives and environment, gurdev bhandu; and fourth is the spiritual teacher, parmayshram. One can use fear and love in proportion to discipline, but you should not regiment the child under a complex of fear.

What scriptures are you quoting? I am quoting a lot of scriptures. The Siri Guru Granth Sahib has a lot of what I say, but there are a lot of other scriptures. The Bagthi and Sanscriti describe certain times, certain values and certain experiments done by certain sages which I quote.

Shabd Hazare in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib gives the most characteristic behavior, chrystalized spiritual know-how of the Guru in the concept of a woman's behavior pattern in relating to a male:

Iaanreeay maanraa kaaeh karay. Aapanrai ghar har rango na maanay. So nayrai dhan kamaleeay baahar kiaa dooday. Bhai keeaa day salaaeeaa nainee bhaav kaa kar seegaaro. Ta sohaagan jaaneeai laagee jaa so dharay piaaro. Iaanee baalee kiaa karay jaa dhan kant na bhaavai. Karan palaah karay botayray saadhan mahal na paavai. Vin karmaa kich paaeeai naahee jay botayraa dhaavai.

Oh, innocent woman, what can that one to whom you look with reverence do? In his own house he does not look to, does not listen to, this graceful one, his beloved one. He so near to you, so attached to you, what is he trying to find outside; where is the discrepancy in the relationship? Put in your eyes, the realization, the charisma of fear and go deeply, telescopically into his being to find what you have been missing in his personality, and at that time decorate yourself with reverence for him; by your glow and radiance, you will yourself receive reverence. Then only are you married; are you at that level of consciousness as one with him so that you can seat him in your heart with love. What can this innocent woman do if she cannot reach to his essence; there must be something hidden in his character, approach, language, behavior, or the environments. She may do everything, often she overdoes it, but does not get to the core of his being. Unless that happens your relationship will not prosper.

So my idea in giving this course is to give you an opportunity to determine for yourself if you just want to show that woman is not a piece to be exploited but is a piece of human life which is to be respected, which is graceful and divine. I shall be very very happy for my part and I will feel very fulfilled. I appreciate your concern, your faith, your trust, and your desire to be here. It is my hope that if we honestly and truthfully go through this course and try to manifest a practical, living Adi Shakti, we will do a great human service. We will print it as a book called The Living Woman. In vibration, all of you will be the co-authors.

Speaking with you this evening has given me a joy, a hope. Cleanliness is divinity, discipline is Gödliness, and only a disciple knows what is Godliness. Nobody else knows. Center of God is O, organization. I hope your camp will be most organized. You should police yourselves. Your consciousness is your police and your life is your discipline. You have come here to practice a living discipline and a living consciousness. You will learn to forget your weaknesses and relate to your strengths. Then you can return home as a new model in the old body, your strength, your confidence, your culture, your discipline, your self-reliance, your self-projection, your concept of values. Your relationships, socially, economically and personally will be transformed to make you a qualified woman for the worthy cause of uplifting humanity.

Woman in Self

Woman in Self is the chapter we are talking about. The male is governed by the sun and the female is governed by the moon. You might have heard the expression that the male has a female in it and the female has a male in it. It is true because the moon governs the mind and there is no man without a mind, and no woman without a mind. The faculty of mind is to expand and contract, and the faculty of the sun is continuous and constant. Where the woman has the basic and major instinct of fluctuation, man has the major instinct to be stable. It is between that fluctuation and stability that union takes place. In this relevant attitude if you want to brand the man and woman as equal, it is not true. Woman is a different species from the man. In metabolism, in time, in attitude, woman is completely and totally different than man. First, in shape she is different than man. That difference in shape is a very major difference. Normally if a beard grows on a woman there is an imbalance in hormones. If her menstruation goes back and forth or is not constant it is also a sign of an unhealthy situation. If a male grows that breast which a woman has, it also means an imbalance in hormones, and if he doesn't have a beard, whether he shaves or not, then it means his hormones are different from a normal healthy male. A male hardly gets pregnant, whereas a woman has to be very alert about it. The urinary system may look the same, but it is not exactly the same. Also try to understand that the food of a male is never suitable for a female.

There are certain things which men can do, which women cannot or should not do. If a woman wants to mess herself up, three days before and after her menstruation she should lift heavy weights. It will put her navel point out of gear and it can end up giving her a back pain which hardly any doctor can cure. Woman is one creature on this planet with many other animals which can turn her blood into milk. Man can not do it. There are many things which man can not do but woman can do very easily and there are many things which man can do very easily but they are very difficult for woman.

Temperamentally, in metabolism, in physical construction, in form, shape, and appearance, in attitude, in likes and dislikes, in needs, in emotions, in social environments, psychologically and parapsychologically, woman is completely a different identity than a man. Mentally, intuitively, psychically, and intellectually, they are totally different creatures. In reality they are opposites and where a male and a female are totally opposite they form a good team. Opposites attract each other and equals repel each other. In reality, to have a good team you require a woman who can cover those areas which man can not cover and you require a man who can cover those areas which woman can not cover. It is a tragedy that ladies like to be a man, I have seen many couples saying, We have a lot of things in common. When you have a lot things in common between you, you are getting for a tragedy and it is not going to last long. The relationship which has a lot in common, 60% in common, is absolutely no relationship. Where you have 60% opposite, there the relationship works. If you know how to build a cabin you understand that the longitude and latitude of the cabin logs are cut in a way to get fixed with each other. That is how woman and man in opposition set themselves into those grooves. I remember a man who married a woman who hardly used to sleep. I once asked him, You know you could have gotten a much prettier woman than her, what have you found in her? He said, Everything. I said, My God what is that everything? So I started studying that case. He would never get up before ten o'clock and she would finish everything of his by ten o'clock. He was a lousy eater, she was the smartest cook. I have seen him saying, Forget it. Why to waste time in the kitchen. I can send the servant to a shop and get some grahams and rice and we can just eat. Food is just to fill the body, to keep it going. And she will say very politely, That man will not put his consciousness into that food. She was so smart that she would cook everything and keep it so handy that it is just coming ready made. Once I asked, How much do you have to exert to keep going? She said, That is the fun of life. He has another bad habit that he will wear clothes and come to sleep with his suit and tie on, and he never removed his boots and socks. But I have seen him being trained. She never complained. Some of you do not know that the mastery of complaining can be learned from you. A nagging wife is a God's punch, a woman who nags a man, loses a man, now or sometime. The lowest consciousness in a woman is when she nags and criticized, it is such a defeatist art for a woman that it makes her worthless.

There is also another tragedy of woman, that is not to participate, They call it boycott in life. A woman who does the boycott in life actually is boycotted from life. Woman is nothing but a total creativity either of a man, of a child, or of an elder. If a woman once gets the privilege to be recognized as the creativity of a male, then it is her responsibility to maintain it. It will be a tragedy for any woman to think that somebody shall maintain her creativity. Men live off the woman, they live for the woman. The idea of purity and woman are not two different words, When you say about a man that he is pure, it is too much, maximum men can only try to be pure, In this faculty of life woman also has to pay the cost of that purity. In reality, a living woman who believes in purity can not share her aura, sensually, sexually and emtoionally with another male, therefore, her flow has to be direct, one pointed and constant. It is undeniable that the greatest weapon woman has is the power of suggestion. The woman who uses reason, argument, discussion, nagging, yelling, screaming, face-making, becoming temperamental, is not a successful woman. In the scriptures there are four types of women. One is known as Hunsany or swan woman. Swan woman is mentally very sharp, physically very stout, elegant in apperance, full of spirit, highly suggestive, delicate, decorative, graceful, clean and disciplined. The second type is Mirgany or deer woman. She is intelligent, sharp, creative, beautiful, sexual, sensual, peaceful, but less disciplined, and not very settled in temperament. The third type of woman is Shuterny. Shuterny is Shuter, the camel or horse, but it's mostly camel, They are constant, they can go a long way, they can absorb any king of pressure, but once in a while they show tremendous indiscipline, become intolerable, aggrevating, believe in territories and once in a while they socially belittle themselves. The fourth form is Hustany, the elephant. They are self involved, very powerful, live for themselves, have their own social, mental, and psychic reservations and they form their own little groups. They look pretty but their limbs are not in standard shape. They also have a habit to eat constantly, are perfect in yelling, screaming and unwaranted loud arguments. The last type of woman is Amiterny. This is a very very rare quality where all negative human qualities blend into one. Amiterny is unfriendly, selfish, intolerable, uncreative and she uses all positive faculities to rule and establish her rule and territory. She is not objective but she wants to create subjective environments. Therefore, in many cases she is super intelligent, super creative, super beautiful, super, super, super, but that is all like a beautiful colored snake whose bite will not fall anywhere else but on itself. Now these Amiternies have two qualities, one is positive and one is negative. Those who are positive are super positive in every field but the motivation is super negative, that is solid slefishness. They are negative, very withdrawn, obnoxious in language, low in discipline and confrontingly abusive, absolutely unsocial and non-communicative. It has been found out by experience that a woman has the quality that through the process of discipline she can change from one category to another. It has been seen that Amiterny — Miter means friend, amiter means one who does not know what friendship is — can become Hunsany, but it has never been seen that Hunsany has become Amiterny.

It can be said categorically that woman is one huge creature in the human environments who can advance herself in spite of the adverse and handicapped start of life. The greatest enemy of women is their faculty of behavior which keeps them from progressing is anger because it takes away their faculty to think and judge the pros and cons. Jealousy makes them very unenergetic, uncreative, destructive, and uncommunicative. When a woman becomes uncommunicative she becomes a puzzle and that puzzle sometimes reacts on her to an extent that in the long range her unhappiness ruins her own life. If you consider it, these are three minor situations. If there is something which is making you angry and if you just hold your anger for a few minutes, let yourself think over why you are angry and take care of it, it will save you a lot of unhappiness. If you are jealous because somebody is overedging you, think about what makes you feel that way and you can overedge yourself and you can overcome this deficiency in no time. There is no reason to be non-communicative because life is meant to be a field of negotiation – you can always talk,

There are certain criterias which constitute a fear complex in a woman. That is her training in childhood and how if effects her in her adult age and in her old age which we will cover as a second chapter tomorrow. If anybody has questions, you are most welcome to ask them.

Spiritual teacher is a guide. You can confide in a spiritual teacher and it is his moral responsibility to help you. But you cannot replace your spiritual teacher for your husband, your brother,

your fiance, or anything. Your spiritual teacher is your ultimate man who can solve your life problems. Therefore when you approach your spiritual teacher it is obligatory to approach him with reverence, talk to him with respect, and explain things to him direct. When you do this you will always be blessed your question will be answered, and your destiny will change. I can vouch for it. But if you lay a tantrum on your spiritual teacher, he may not say anything apparently, but heavens will issue a note of curse. It is very well said in the scriptures that whenever you go to a spiritual teacher you should go very formally, very well dressed, you should be beautifully graceful and respectably ready to go to him. Secondly, you should take something pleasant to him as an offering, it may be a flower. The price doesn't matter but there should be something that you can give so that you can take. Then you should sit down with reverence and wait patiently. If you can sit there meditatively your destiny will start changing in a couple of seconds. Whatever it is that is bothering you you should present with respectable words and in a graceful manner. Then you should attentively hear the reply and prayerfully you should leave and return home, The scriptures vouch that by the time you leave the gate your destiny may have already changed.

Going to a spiritual teacher in ego is entering the lion's den who has been hungry for centuries. You must understand, Homay da nahme nak barodhay. The man of God and man of ego, do not exist at the same place. You can gracefully and respectfully totally confine your life to a spiritual teacher and he is supposed to guide you. Unfortunately, if a spiritual teacher is a real spiritual teacher he knows on the other side of the mountain more than on this side. So it will be very respectable for you when you reach such a man or a woman to treat him very kindly. A spiritual teacher is one person who should never be treated unkindly. I have said many times when you have a problem you should share it with your spiritual teacher, you'll get the right answer and also with the answer the technology of how to overcome it. It is up to you whether you want to do it or not.

There is one misfortune which you will always find today with a spiritual teacher. It doesn't matter how many colors he changes and how many facets he changes, one thing he or she will never change is the awareness of being a spiritual teacher. He can become father, he can become friend, he can become guide, he can become anything or everything to you, but fundamentally and basically you will always find him a teacher. Whatever he will do to you, directly or indirectly, you will ultimately find the surprising result that he or she was doing nothing but teaching.

Question. Answer. It is an art to be a woman, and it is a privilege to be a woman. As a woman you can accumulate respect, love, attention, everything, but only if you are a woman. The art of woman is to be suggestive, the art of a male is to be active. That is where they are totally different. If a man is suggestive you will never find him successful and the total success of a woman lies in suggestiveness. It is the greatest tool and weapon she has against which nobody has a defense.

Everything is nothing but a picnic. In those environments one evening we were sitting and she said, If all men who are here are divine, God shall make a picnic day tomorrow. Now try to understand it as the suggestive way, she inflated everybody's ego, whoever was present in that room. Luckily the next day the sun was right, the wind was pleasant and somehow our supply came so we had a lot of food. And the orders came that you can not proceed further. In spite of the fact that the officer commanding had decided that throughout the time she is with us we will never have a picnic, he ordered a picnic. And he admitted that if anything made him do it it was only that he didn't want to be regarded as a devil. Therefore he gives up and orders this day be a day of picinc. We went by the river side and we had a good fun but I am telling you the way to be suggestive. This is a woman way or the woman way. Power of suggestion is more than the power of thought because it is a concentrated thought or we call it directed thought. This faculty does not exist with the male because his intellect immediately gets transferred to emotion and quickly gets into desire. It is the faculty of the woman that she can create the intellect to a thought and concentrate it to make it into a suggestion. It is a very, very rare human art, it is super powerful and has a super powerful magnetism about it.

Question. The lady who does morning wake-up said that we should only take cold showers in the morning, is that correct?

Answer. Cold shower brings the blood out to the capillaries, cleans the circulatory system and reduces the blood pressure on the internal organs and thus acts as a flushing for the internal organs giving them a new supply of blood. It strengthens the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems of the woman and it helps to contract the muscles to eliminate the toxins and posions very fast. It also brings the power of resistance to the body and strengthens the membranes which normally inflate and bring hay fever, allergies, colds, cough and those kinds of things, It makes a person normal, healthy and keeps the skin young and shining, It also takes little time to take a cold bath. If you take a warm water shower you must be in warm water for half an hour and preferably it should be taken in a tub. First you should sit in a hot water tub up to the navel point to allow the adjustment of the circulatory system, then you should lie down in it. We have found in hydrotherapy, which is the art of water and water curing, that a person should always stay in the warm water more than half an hour. People who take quick hot showers are normally sick and in case of woman, menstruation is never regular, Also their metabolism is never straight, they get blue veins and finally they become ugly because their face starts producing a very different kind of fat layer of skin. That makes them out of shape. The art of taking a cold shower is that when you let the cold shower strike your body you start massaging your body right away to the extent that you don't feel the coldness. It is the healthiest exercise, greatest therapy and very creative to a woman's body.

Question, Somebody recently told me that we shouldn't use a person's name when we wake them up. Is that true?

Answer. First of all, whosoever has spread this news must have used his own intelligence but now the question has come and I am supposed to answer it. I have said many times that if somebody is sleeping, as respect to another's comfort, don't use any technology which should wake him up in a shock. If alarm clock is obnoxious…obnoxious is obnoxious whether it is an alarm clock or it is a church bell, Obnoxiousness depends upon the mood of the one who receives it, beauty depends on the eyes of the beholder. Therefore it would be wrong to comment. Therefore I pass.

Question. How do you use the power of suggestion and yet be direct?

Answer. The power of suggestion when used indirectly is absolutely ineffective, unoperative, and it is dishonest. Power of suggestion is always direct. Some people think the power of suggestion means that it is a victory or a failure. It is not true. The power of suggestion makes you immune from defeat and victory, It is a direct act of your honest self which comes in graceful projection. Don't think power of suggestion is diplomacy, or calmness. or cleverness or concoction. When we talk of the human behaviour of a woman there are two sides and one side I will never like to repeat, but it is obligatory on me as a teacher to tell you how crooked, unethical, untruthful and merciless woman is when she falls below zero, Even Guru Gobind Singh who worshipped Adi Shakti in Dusam Granth describes four hundred and forty tech niques of a woman where she ruins herself and ruins her surroundings, You must understand that woman is a creative power and if she becomes negative there is no defense against it. This is not to put down a woman, it is to put down that destructive part which is in a woman. We are trying to suggest that the suggestive system is direct system. Whether it's done or not done should not be your motivation, Suggestive system is a truthful, direct, honest conviction and faith told with simple loving words,

Question. Can you give more examples of that?

Answer. It would take a long time, Basically every woman born knows how to suggest as you have just suggested to me, Could you give me more examples of that?. Now that is a very direct honest suggestive system to train you in that behaviour. First of that is to learn to walk properly. NO woman is supposed to walk on heels, no woman is supposed to walk in such a way that she will be shy of her breast and bend her spine in the shoulder area, no woman is supposed to look direct into the eyes of a man before she looks and observes him from toe to top – woman should never observe a man from top to toe. When woman observes a man from toe to top she can get a lot of energy to totally and wholly understand a man. It is impossible for me to believe that woman has to yell, scream, and shout. These are the faculties of the men, Smiling silence is the one art of the woman which is more effective than the atom bomb. Suggestive communication is her sure victory and mannerful withdrawal is her everlasting respect. LIGHT AND THE WOMAN, THE WOMAN ITSELF

I have been given to understand by Hari Har Kaur that there are 10 Who have given entries for riflery. The background of some of you is yery crazy. Some of you don't want to handle arms. There is one thing which I have never understood in my lifetime; if a woman is never allowed to be a woman what else will she be? A simple thought which has changed my thinking and I have dealt with this at the very depth of concept. If a woman is never allowed to be a woman for awhile, she is something other than a woman.

Now in this country you have problems. You have men who are very insecure, men who are not men, men who I do not even call them as animals. When I see a male catering to a female, I know that honestly and truthfully he's destroying her. You may have a temporary victory at that moment because you can manipulate a male, but you must remember it is your ever, ever, ever lasting defeat. The problem we have here is twofold: One is that women know nothing but tantrums. They have been raised that way by parents. Sick parents have brought out sick children. We have to correct them at that level and that is the most difficult task a man can ever think of doing.

Secondly, you are dealing with men who are sick because they are also the products of sick parents. Arousing the spirit of such men and women to believe in righteousness and live righteously is one of the greatest miracles. The only way in which we feel we are being compensated is in honestly and continuously working, not looking at our faults and failures or our weaknesses and shortcomings. In
