Introduction
Women today want it all. Success in both their personal and professional lives is important to them. They don't want to sacrifice anything anymore. Also to achieve their goals, they often take on the role of superwoman
. They are those who take care of everything and everyone, without asking for help and forgetting to take care of their needs. They then take the risk of feeling overwhelmed and thus facing both emotional and physical exhaustion.
There is no doubt that being a mother is the most challenging job in the world. As such, it is an extreme role. One of the most challenging aspects is people's constant efforts at finding balance, as well as second-guessing themselves.
However, it may result in the most profound growth experience a woman can ever have, complete with moments of absolute bliss. The experience of becoming a parent changes an individual's identity significantly, but I believe mothers are more affected by it.
In most families, the father plays the primary role of breadwinner, thus having to make decisions (if any) relating to whether to stay at work, reduce hours, or leave your career tends to fall on the moms. Babies are carried and delivered by women since they are their biological responsibility.
More women are also choosing to breastfeed their babies as the evidence for its benefits grows and that in and of itself is a huge responsibility.
As well as losing control of their bodies and hormones during the birth of their children, women find that their role in society is drastically altered.
Maintaining a professional career while juggling motherhood and marriage is a challenge regardless of the situation.
It is not uncommon for mothers to work outside the home, but those who own their own businesses face an additional challenge of juggling their daily life with their work, as work does not end at 5 pm.
For example, having a dental practice was like having a baby when you started. You used to love taking care of it, and you would spend most of your time there.
However, when your child arrived, he was your new baby, and since a woman naturally desires to be a mother and provide for her family, the combination of motherhood and work threw you into quite a bit of guilt.
While working, you thought you should be with your baby,
