Introduction
Often seen as a natural or innate role for women, motherhood requires a lot of physical and psychological transformation. Motherhood is indeed energy-consuming.
Becoming a mother is not only scary in your daily life and relationships, but also your identity. Sometimes it seems impossible to find a balance between being a mother, a partner, and yourself.
Sleep no longer exists and you have a hard time recognizing yourself. Even though you love your child, you also miss the person you were before you became a mother. Sometimes finding the old one is difficult for you and can be scary.
Mother's reality
Motherhood is incredibly stressful. Women are often seen to be caring, nurturing, selfless and generous to others. In addition, society expects children to be the responsibility of the mother primarily.
Resources such as adequate maternity leave and affordable child care are a bit scarce in the United States as well as in some other parts of the world. This, in turn, creates unique challenges for mothers.
In addition to these limited resources, there is a lack of adequate support through other means. Most women do not realize that their role as mothers is a major cause of their problems and difficulties.
Motherhood is nice. It is also a challenge, both physically and emotionally. The mental energy you use daily to care for someone who depends on you can be exhausting and less innate or rewarding than many realize.
Overwhelming stress can result from women becoming project managers
for their households.
This mental tension shows how women are solely responsible for everything in the household, not just the children. While women are socialized to care, nurture and give extraordinarily to others, they are often not taught to
