Introduction
Keeping a home and raising children is a full-time job, and when we take on a career, or run a business in addition to our roles as moms, we know too well juggling all can be downright exhausting and sometimes chaotic, yet we are determined to make it work. Right within us is the resolve to succeed at work and home even when we have no idea how we will make it through those times when we are too exhausted to lift a finger, and the days when the demands from work and home will feel like being at a crossroad, and yet we are expected to be at our best and keep it all together.
Just like life's other challenges, juggling work, family and life is a push-and-pull affair, but you have got what it takes to excel in it, to succeed beyond your own expectation, and even enjoy the process… this book will show you exactly how.
I salute y’all working moms!

Chapter 1: Building a Successful Career or Business
Giving to family and giving to business or career is one of the greatest challenges working moms and moms in business face. But we all have what it takes to make it work.
C:\Users\grace\Documents\Bluetooth Exchange Folder\images-22.jpegIt’s an entirely new world
For a career mom or a mom in business, it is a whole new world when a baby comes into the picture, and right here, it is never business as usual. Knowing and accepting you are not going to be the same person you were before motherhood, and you will not have the same amount of time to the things you would love to do, will only prepare you to manage your work and life in a way that makes space for who you have become.
Having babies will impact your career, business and your life in ways you never imagined - sometimes you will have to stay away from work or business to take care of a sick baby, you would stay up late at night to rock a crying baby, your attention will be needed in your child’s school at unexpected times, and much more. But how it affects all of it (positive and negative) will be up to you.
At this point you will have to redefine what ‘success’ means to you, having in mind that a lot must have changed since your bundle of joy came into your life. If you are very realistic about your expectations, you will find the whole process of achieving your personal, business or career goals, and looking after your family will be much more doable and less daunting.
You can be both – ambitious woman & mom
pixabay6.jpgAccept that you can really be both – a woman with an ambition and a mother with children; one doesn’t have to give way for the other and you don’t have to feel guilty about desiring to be both. Just ditch the guilt you simply don’t have time for it. One mom had this to say about mom guilt: When thinking about your guilt, ask yourself, does your husband feel guilty for working fulltime? If he doesn’t, why do you?
Believe that you can do it and just get
