Often in January, we have a renewed sense of drive and purpose. We set some lofty goals for the year and tackle them with both vigor and excitement. At least for a few weeks. Maybe even a few months. But eventually, we start to slow down a bit.
And it happens for a lot of reasons. Maybe the novelty of newness has worn off and it’s not “fun” anymore. Perhaps your new business is taking longer to be profitable than you had hoped. Or it could be that you’re just tired; that big push from the first of the year combined with everything else you were already doing, and you’re left just anxious and exhausted.
