祖籍廣東大鵬古城，童年移居香港，在香港和英國的大學學習，從事學校教學與行政工作。

曾任香港：

教區中學校長聯會主席，

考試局中央委員，

地區法院審裁顧問，

中國教育部外籍人員子弟學校認證委員，

三個教育機構顧問。

退休後讀書寫作自娛

The author was born in Dapeng City, Guangdong, and moved to Hong Kong in his childhood.

After tertiary education in Hong Kong and England, he established his career in education and administration in Hong Kong.

Position held :

Chairman of the Diocesan School Heads Board, 

Central Board member of the HK Examinations Authority, 

Member of the District Court Assessors Panel, 

Consultant of three educational institutions, 

Accreditation Team Member to evaluate schools for children of foreign nationals. 

In retirement, he gives himself much to reading and writing.
