      Le Docteur Coinneach down through the damp night air.

      A small child of ten, Flore, lost in play, hopping across the cobblestones.

      Ma chéri petit comment va at maman?


      She looked at him uncertain of his weak accent.

      Coinneach continued, What are you doing out? At night? All alone? In the dark?

      Little Flore looked lost at his Anglais Britannique. Shrugging her puny shoulders.

      Where is your mummy child?

      A brute of a woman entered offside, grabbing her away. Indignant. Startling Coinneach.

      Inspecteur Renard next tapped against frosted glass.

      Making Coinneach emit a yelp. Le Docteur turned startled once again to meet his gaze. Followed by Renard's urgent gesture. Beckoning.

      Flore bounded along down dark cobblestone. Disappearing. When Coinneach entered the police station.
