    And so the weeks passed uneventfully unlike those first few heady days of adventurey with the great unknown. I was just beginning to think it may have all just been some delusion or that after our last discourse he had given up on me. It had really seemed that long and terrible to think that we would allow this to come between us. I was frightened of the thought of it but more alarmed that he may have joined the crusade as it were without me. Once again journeying in the streams of time. I could no longer keep my focus which is a terrible place to be especially in the field of medicine where failure in one's own due diligence could lead to someone's morbidity. Luckily, for my patients, I had none only students such was my lecture schedule. In the end, I was wondering if it was all having the same effect upon him. But I knew James to be of a far more sturdy stock. He had the courage to move forward through such things never one to be bound by emotional baggage or so it seemed. I, on the other hand, wrestled with too many things rattling my brain and tiring my mind. James was right, I did display a tendency to overthink things rather than just live life. I suppose this is what I admired most about the man. His was an extraordinary gift.
