July 7

Don’t feel all that good today. The food tastes bad as usual and I hate how everyone keeps treating me. Never wanted to live in this dump- whoever my parents were they decided to leave me here when I was a baby. Now I’m forced to live at this church and sing hymns everyday. The music hearts my ears.

July 9

Skipped a day in my journal. Felt a bit sick but feeling better after not having to hear the sermon and the music. Something about it really gets to me- at least I’m not the only one making complaints about it...

Some of the other guys are annoyed by having to go to sermons. Asked Mike if he wanted to skip one to have some fun- glad he did as we sneaked our way out, making sure no one was watching.

And what did he want to do? Go around skipping stones. BORING! Told him we should teach those nuns a lesson. At first he wasn’t sure but he said yes.

July 10

Yeah I was busted. That stupid Mike ended up telling on me after I decided to put some glue in one of the nun’s shoes. At least I thought it was funny!
