The night was dark and weary. The sweat fell from his forehead. And his vision was hazed. Yet despite all the doubt, and all the hardship He kept onward. A city of crime and injustice lay before him. The streets were littered with theft. And its people cried for a savior.

I don’t have the experience. But someone has to save them...

He saw no sign of The Vengeance. The powerful hero who always came in aid for the weary. The light that would vanquish the darkness. And the only hope for the city.

He didn’t know where he (or she) was. Yet even without a clue he continued to search. Under the gutters. In the alleys. The shadows. He found nothing in sight. But his momentum never stopped, and pushed forward.

As he passed on he could hear the screams from the shadows. Their cry for help. An elderly woman being robbed. Men beating others for money. A woman being attacked.
