Dedicated
I deem it a great pleasure to propose a big thanks on the completion of my first book.
First and foremost I thank the almighty God for making this happen, whose blessings are always with me. I am grateful to all my family members for their words of encouragement.
My special and heartfelt thanks to Mansi Mehrotra for her valuable inputs and editing.
Last but not the least I would like to thank all those who contributed in giving the final shape to my dream.
When we lose one blessing, another is often most unexpectedly given in its place.
C.S. Lewis
Introduction
So, before jumping onto the protagonist of the story,
Let me make myself familiar to you.
People called me a bookworm
as books were the only world to me since childhood.
Library used to be my favourite place along with observing different people who were carrying a bag of behaviours with them.
During my graduation, in the very first year I was declared as a nerd by my batch mates. Those three years of college were the most memorable ones, as I progressed from being a nerd to a leader of a group of intellectual kids. A skinny tall guy wearing specs, shy and reserved in his own world.
The right place to find me wasn’t in a classroom rather in a library.
It’s often said, what you learn as a child shapes your future, so now it was my future’s turn to shape.
My simple lifestyle and overwhelming obsession with books made me a loner, when I see the different behaviour and kinds of languages that were spoken within the environment of college,it made me wonder what if any of these languages will be our next official language for the country.
There are different kinds of people in the world, so, what do you think? What kind of a person am I?
(I am just the way, you think ;)

Hi, Aman
(yes that's my name) someone shouted from a distance.
Shhh, it's a library, he is not allowed to speak
– a person sitting in the library with a book glared at me. It made me look embarrassed as all eyes were fixed on me.
Please hang me or I will surely die of the gaze, I looked at the ceiling and pleaded, as I believed god was listening to me.
What are you up to?
Akash asked me this while he came in, took no notice of all the signs given by me to keep silence.
(A flamboyant kind of a person whose life revolves around parties and outings.)
OH, I'm studying.
I replied with a baffled face.
O man! Can you please help me with the physics assignment, you can’t deny it to your best friend.
– said with an innocent face.
(What, best friend really?) My mind kept on wondering unless he shook me and said, What are you thinking?
Nothing as such, I just thought which assignment you were talking about
Oh man! The one we had to submit last week, I forgot to do that and now the professor is hanging my butt to that
, he rolled his eyes.
Oh, alright will help you for that
I had nothing else to reply.
Great man! You are a lifesaver; I owe you my friend.
(And he left the way he came.)
(Wait, What!)
He was coming back,
Now what? As I was wondering what the next bombs that he will drop at me he said hey! You have to come to shloka tonight, I am celebrating Simi’s birthday no excuses, see you there.
and he turned back swiftly.
Okay
I responded back in a very subtle voice but by that time he had already left.
(I wondered what made me say ‘okay’ when I don’t know anything either about shloka or Simi. These thoughts entangled me in such a manner that I had lost focus on what I was reading.)
I surfed about shloka and found out that it was a café, I have never been to. (Choosing appropriate outfits, things I will keep myself busy in was such a difficult task that made me conscious about the event.)
(Thinking all this, I stood up with my books and walked towards my classroom.)
Hey Sameer, do you know Simi?
I patted his back, adjusting my specs with my other hand.
(Sameer, my batch mate, a cute chubby boy who was the Wikipedia of any person in the college.) He interrogated me from top to bottom. From when you started looking for girls, I thought it was lifelong fasting "he said sarcastically.
"Oh, you're thinking
