      Nelson David! You get your ass in here right now!

      The shrill voice of my landlady broke the quiet air. In response, my heart did a flip flop and I gripped the beer in my hand a little tighter. Shit. I gulped knowing what she was going to do and wondering how I got here.

      I must have paused for a few moments too long because she called again Nelson David! Don’t make me come out there and get you! Get your ass in here RIGHT NOW! I swear that everyone in the area heard.
