The story

Chapter 1

I kept looking at the hairbrush.   The wooden handle.  The firm brushes encased in the wood back.  Involuntarily my bottom tingled as my mind wandered to the thoughts of what could be done with that brush.

I shook my head and tried to chase the thoughts from my mind.   Looking into the mirror I adjusted my make up. 

Before I go further, I should back up with the events of the last half hour.

I was a guest at my friend Marie’s house.  She and her husband had a lot of money and the bathroom I was in was huge.  It felt bigger than my living room.

Marie and I went way back.  We had become friends in junior high school and then best friends in high school.  Here we were fifteen years out of high school and we still were pretty close friends.  Many a Saturday nights found me sleeping at her house.   Tonight was probably how that would go too.

The plan for this evening was that she and I and her husband Jake were all going out to a party.  Jake was a strong good looking man.  He was involved in mutual funds or money management.  Whatever he did, he made a lot of money, that I was sure of.   The house was fancy I had come over a few minutes early and had just let myself in.

But I think I must have interrupted something, because I swear I had heard something that sounded like a whap and a woman making a noise in response.  You know how murmurs in rooms sound?  It was kind of like that.
