Introduction
The human body is like a car, in order to run at all it must be fueled (food), in order to run smoothly it must have the correct type of fuel (healthy food), in order to improve its performance, it must have a strong engine (strong metabolic systems) and then in order to run efficiently and fast, it must have a high engine capability to body size ratio (high performing but not too heavy body). You will learn more about energy expenditure as you read the book.
This are all true and almost a no-brainer, however, due to the flood of wrong or ineffective information surrounding weight loss, it seems too complicated or hidden behind an expensive exercise and diet plan or supplement. I strongly believe that you need to understand anything you want to do before start it. Do not be clueless about exercise of nutrition before you start any weight loss plan or anything in life for that matter. It is not that difficult to learn and implement any weight loss program, and you can actually choose to do it yourself with a little guidance and some strong will to pursue.
