About this ebook

You hold in your hands a piece of a puzzle far grander than you could ever know. For scrawled in blood upon the pages are stories twisted twenty in all, soaked in the embers of my insanity. Five minutes to glimpse inside the eyes of someone new, five minutes to answer, five minutes to sin, five minutes to do almost anything. A god, a demon, a harlot, a whore. A fascist, a killer, a sinner, a door. Death and division, humanity askew. A belfry of bats, a sea of black cats, so many moments out there to see, so many things you could see with me. So take a seat beside me and call it voodoo, because now you ride with me too...

    The Stories

    The Blind Sword Of Delkathra

Winston drops to a knee and grimaces with pain as he clutches his side. You think you have won? You think this is over? My death means nothing to anything, for we are hydra, and we are for…. but he doesn’t get to finish as Lambert slices The Blind Delkathra swiftly through the air and cleanly removes Winston’s head from his shoulders.

Fucking perverted piece of shit! Lambert growls through clenched teeth as he spits a wad of saliva on Winston’s decapitated corpse.

You strike one down, and three more rise up, a distorted voice hisses from somewhere beyond the destroyed buildings.

You strike down one, then those who were too scared to face me on their own suck up the courage to either fight or run away, he says as he tightens his grip on The Blind Delkathra and smiles. I am so glad YOU Solame, decided to band together with others of similar ilk and come at me!

He takes a deep breath, then like a ballerina moves skilfully from his left foot to his right, leaps high into the air performing a perfectly executed suicide spin that finishes with him landing gently to the ground, his grip tightly around the now blood soaked swords hilt. As he lets out the deeply held breath, five bodies fall out of the shadows, each quickly growing a pool of blood, that soon joins as one beneath Lambert’s stance.

A sarcastic clap quietly grows louder as a shrouded figure strides proudly from the shadows that paint the earth beyond the circle of blood that Lambert now stands at the centre of.

No man seen before you has been so destructive, unless you count the deeds I have done with this hand, she says proudly.

You and I are nothing alike, Lambert hisses through clenched teeth.

Is it because I’m a woman?

YOU ARE NO WOMAN WHORE! THE FLESH YOU WEAR TO HIDE YOUR TRUE SELF DOES NOT BEND BEFORE ME LIKE IT DOES THE OTHERS!

Are you still angry about that? She was cheating on you Lambert, she was sleeping with your brothers, all six of them. What I did to her was far greater than anything you could have done. For your punishment would’ve only scarred the flesh, she says proudly, as she pulls her hood back to reveal her beautiful appearance. While I have eaten her very soul and cast it into a pit of unending punishment.

He snarls like a wild animal about to attack, IT WAS MY PUNISHMENT TO DEAL OUT, NOT YOURS! he screams, as he tries to leap towards her, only to find millions of small hands forming from the lake of blood he now stands in, holding him down. Before he can look back up, she is standing before him with a broad smile on her face.

I am the one who handles punishment. I am the perfect vessel, created by the creator for this task alone. No human has the right to tell ME otherwise, she hisses as she grips him by the throat and lifts him high into the air.

I am not HUMAN! mocks Lambert as he drives the blade of The Blind Delkathra deep into her chest, only to have her smile grow broader, revealing millions of razor-sharp teeth.

I know, she says as she bites down upon his throat.

    Pretty Bird

The light explodes into the darkness, giving more life to the reds than the darkness did. Debbie’s eyes widen in terror as she meets his lustful gaze.

There you are MY pretty bird, he hisses through rotten teeth. Why did you run? I told you I wasn’t going to hurt you.

GET AWAY FROM ME! she screams as she swings at him wildly with the small knife.

Why are you treating me in such a way bird? I promised I would not harm your friends, and I kept that promise. he says as he shields himself, catching several strikes on his forearm.

YOU KILLED THEM ALL! she screams frantically.

I did what you asked, only what you asked. Why are you like this? I only ever wished to make you happy.

    "I NEVER
