Be Me Tha Captain

Captain Syler looks down over Damien’s silent bloody remains and allows a twisted smile to creep across his torn and blood drenched lips. Sail that ship onwards my son, sail that FUCKING ship right into the sun. Sail that ship till all your flesh is burned, for your deaths been earned. Sail that FUCKING ship onwards son, sail it into the MOTHERFUCKING SUN! he spits with venomous gusto, as a single tear escapes his unpatched eye. For minutes he stands lost in the repeating rhyme before he finally nods his head with an exhausted sigh, which acts as the signal for Calvin and Brody to begin emptying the drums of gasoline over Damien’s form.

You think the old man has this in store for each of us? Brody asks quietly, feverishly casting his glances between Calvin, Captain Syler and Damien’s corpse.

What, you think he’s gonna burn each of us alive?

WAIT WHAT? NO! NO! he squeaks loudly with wide open eyes, while his face goes bright red as he glances quickly over to Captain Syler, who still has his head bowed, and shows no sign of hearing them. I meant, do you think he’s gonna kill us all like he killed Jenny, Sammy, Punter, Dutch and Damien? he hisses through clenched teeth.

it’s still the same thing.

No it isn’t! You asked if I meant is he gonna burn us alive, not is he gonna kill us and then get someone to burn the remains!

It’s still the same thing. Calvin says again.

Okay! SURE! whatever.

Don’t be like that, I only asked for clarification, not for you to be a dick!

I’m not being a DICK!

ARE TOO!

Without warning Captain Syler grips them both powerfully by the shoulders and squeezes them tightly as he leans his head in-between the two, a wicked smile broadly placed across his lips. I think yee boys forgot to mention Salizar, Frank, Dutch William, Nathaniel, Dobby, and Chen, when yee be naming all those that have fallen beneath me blade. I’m not a man of many words, so I’ll let me actions speak for themselves, actions I keeps stored inside me brain for future sake. he scoffs before he starts laughing hysterically, then like a finely executed turn his face falls flat and silent, as he stares down over Damien’s gasoline-soaked corpse. But know this and know this well. I don’t be killing for no reason, so give me no reason to kill ya, and we all be heading home in one piece!

Calvin swallows a jagged mouthful of air, as he laughs nervously. O-O-Of course, w-we’d never d-do anything t-to c-c-cross you C-Captain.

He laughs loudly once more and slaps them across the back, I know ya two won’t be, otherwise I’d have no one to clean up the mess. he spits, as his cheery face drops dark once more. But don’t think that gives ya a free pass me barstools, for I don’t be caring if I have to leave your charred remains for the buzzards to clean up.

O-O-Of course C-Captain! they both nervously call out.

Good boys, now, he says as he strikes a match, and holds it out for both of them to clearly view. Keep me ship in ship-shop-shape! he snarls as he drops the match, and Damien’s corpse is quickly engulfed in three-meter-high flames.
