About this ebook

Our economy is finally turning around and there is great optimism throughout our country but there is much more to do. It is hoped the subjects and political philosophy covered in this book will bring the issues to the forefront and create a movement. The last Presidential election has seen an increase from the media and others to ignore our rights under the Constitution and the Constitution
Over the past several administrations and the culture in Congress our rights have been slipping away from us. We as citizens must learn the real facts about what is being reported not what some media sources want us to believe. Both political parties have failed us in the past on many fronts. Part of the key in taking back our country is electing individuals who will lead with solid principles, common sense and compassion for each and every citizen. Common sense has been lost in the political environment and in some cases our judicial environment.
The election of our current President has shaken things up in Washington and positive changes are taking place. Regulations have been reduced, taxes have been lowered and unemployment in a number of ethnic groups is the lowest it has been in decades sometimes the level is the lowest it has ever been. We need individuals in all levels of government be it local, state or federal who will be more concerned about the individuals they represent than their own political parties and keeping their jobs. We must look to the individuals presently running for election either this year or next year who has solutions to the monumental issues facing our country and will follow through to implement the solutions.
It must also be realized that there are good individuals who are representing a common sense approach to the issues we face and we need to elect more of these individuals when we cast our votes. Reducing the size of government with individuals who will cut the fat from the federal government is what we need. It appears there is a new movement within Washington to change the culture of increasing the size and overreach of government operations with the administration in place after the 2016 election. We need to get back to a constitutional government. Operating within the Constitution would reduce or eliminate some of the controls now in place which has no connection to our Constitution.
The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the United States but the subjects presented and discussed in the book appear to be on the path to destroy our Constitution and the rights we have within it. It is also a document that limits the power of government that protects the fundamental rights of United States Citizens. The term United States citizen is the key point. This aspect will be discussed where applicable in the various topics in this book.
There is a battle that is now prevalent in our country and it is one between state governments and the federal government. Taking back our country involves both the federal government and our individual state governments. Laws from both levels of government tend to ignore in some cases the Constitution and federal laws passed by Congress. State laws cannot violate federal law but it can add additional requirements associated with the topic of federal laws. Another point to make is that state governments have specific responsibilities that have not been delegated to the federal government. They have a responsibility to address those responsibilities.
Another point to make is that state and local government or law enforcement organizations cannot impede federal agents performing their assigned specific responsibilities. It is not the responsibility of state or local government to enforce federal law but they cannot ignore the responsibility of communicating with federal authorities where appropriate.

    Chapter 1 Political Correctness

The question of when the philosophy of the political correctness phenomenon began is really hard to determine but it is clear that it is embedded in every facet of our society from our education system to our political system and it affects us as individuals. It seems to have spread like wildfire once it took hold on our very existence as a country.

We in this country have a right to free speech and to think for ourselves and this right is embedded in our Constitution. Political correctness never had any usefulness but some groups and the media have continued to push this agenda. We as individuals need to voice our opposition to this kind of philosophy. We as individuals have a right to make our own decisions as to what we want to hear or wear with few exceptions such as uniforms in schools or businesses but other than that there should be no limitations.

The definitions found on the Internet for the phrase political correctness does not provide a clear explanation of what this term represents for it goes deeper than what any definition could provide. We tend to come to our own definition of terms used which does not mean that other individuals or groups are wrong only that it is our understanding of specific terms as they relate to us.

A quote I found by George Washington who once said, If the freedom of speech is taken away then the dumb and silent may be led, like sheep to slaughter. The philosophy of political correctness is an attempt to place limitations on us as individuals impacting what we can say or not say. The basic purpose of political correctness appears to be that if individuals or organizations can shape the concept of free speech and it takes hold as it has in some respects it will influence how we think and act and may eventually influence what is socially acceptable language. If we do not comply then we are ridiculed and embarrassed.

Through the philosophy of imposing political correctness or attempting to push this concept on us it places pressure if we allow it to conform to the standards created. We as individuals do not
