Understanding the Commitment and Sacrifices of the Military and Their Families
()
About this ebook
This book is all about our military and their families. We are fortunate that we have individuals who have a commitment to serve our country to keep us safe and protect the liberties we have under the Constitution. The commitment and the sacrifices these individuals and their families have endured and will endure in the future can never be repaid. Families in particular do not get enough attention as they deserve until something happens to their love ones. This may not always be the case but the individuals serving in the military and their families deserve to be recognized for their commitment and service to our country and this is what this book is about. I do not claim to know everything that these individuals face each and every day but it is time we recognize their service to our country.
The sacrifice of our troops in all our services involves a price we can never repay. Their dedication and sacrifices not only of themselves but their families should be honored every day. When families lose a loved one who was doing what was necessary to protect the freedoms we have it is a difficult situation one which at this time needs all the support to help them through the difficult situations ahead of them.
The hurt will never go away but we can or should be there to support them not only in their hour of need but always. Our government needs to provide all the necessary services and benefits they deserve and no elected official should play politics. Families of fallen troops should never be forgotten.
The freedoms we have today are the result of the sacrifices of thousands of individuals since our country began. When our country first started there was a need to choose the philosophy which culminated in the Constitution. Individuals who serve us in the military should get the recognition they deserve throughout the year not just on certain days. The freedoms we have are because individuals and their families made sacrifices to help preserve and protect our country from those who would want to do us harm. These individuals seem to be growing in the world as it is today. It seems there will always be threats in some part of the world whether directed at us or other countries it is a fact of life today. There will be more individuals in the future who will serve and protect us and they should be honored not only when they are serving but when they leave the service to return to their private lives.
Those in the military service know that they may be placed in positions where their lives are in jeopardy but their dedication keeps them going. Many times these individuals are a long way from home and their families and we must remember to show our support for their dedication to serve our country. While some people have problems with some of the missions to which the military branches are assigned it is important to remember that they are doing something in which they care. Loss of military personnel in foreign lands is never easy but the dedication to serve and protect our country while in foreign lands is commendable. I salute any individual whether they are military or civilian working for the armed services for their dedication to duty.
Sometimes the conflicts in which we have been drawn are a result of events such as the attacks we encountered on 9/11. Those who were part of the military organization and those who joined after this event deserve to be recognized for the dedication and patriotism. I do so now with this article. Many people lost their lives on 9/11 and other conflicts. We must never forget the lives lost during 9/11 and those before and since.
