How to Keep the Faith in These Pandemic Times
()
About this ebook
This has been a trying time for all of us. We have all been feeling isolated and lonely by now. However, by living as disciples of God, we no longer need to feel lost. We can turn to God anytime by turning inward. He is always there, and he never leaves us, especially not during tough times like these.
However, we need to open ourselves up to feel connected to God during these times. One thing we can do is to live as disciples of God by becoming loving and passionate examples of his way of being. We can reach out to others by either phoning, setting up an online chat or Skype. We may even want to send cards to shut-ins and keep them in our prayers.
The upshot of all this is that God is all around us and within us. All we must do is intentionally become aware of God’s presence in our lives and spend time in prayer. This is the key to developing your love and adoration for God.
So, take this time to become more emotionally resilient and stronger in your faith by developing the habits, attitudes and actions that are praiseworthy to God. Then when the time comes, you can go back into the church community with your head up high and your heart in the right place.

Introduction
These have been strange times to say the least. The coronavirus has shut down all our churches since mid-March. We spent Easter without a way to go to confession or to attend mass. The Easter Vigil, which I love to attend every Easter, was cancelled. It made me yearn for better times.
This pandemic has forced us to celebrate Easter in an inward way instead of in church. I know for myself my faith has grown because of this. However, have said this, I will no longer be taking many ceremonial aspects
